Crime: "The crimes of the Grannvale Empire"
Background: Ethlyn is a medieval noblewoman who had to take on the responsibilities of a whole duchess when she was 12, which has shaped her into a person with a strong and honestly overdeveloped sense of responsibility, as well as no concept of time off or not being busy. She is the mom friend, whether you want her to be or not. She's trained in healing and swordfighting, has two young children left at home (she got a chance to see that they survived, but in exchange are old before their time) and also, she died before getting here.
She's also been in Expi for over a year which means that she has been through a LOT, which on the one hand means it's not easy to throw her and she gets a bit of a +1 for composure in a crisis but on the other hand, BOY SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH A LOT. She has learned to be a little better about seeking help when she needs it at least!
Last month she managed to save one whole person from being a Gnosia and also found a dead friend of hers (Claude) and it was upsetting.
Abilities: Healing, s'words, horsj
Plans: - She's going to be speaking Jugdrali (aka Old Norse) - She will be seeing people from her canon around as glitch'd NPCs so if you want to encounter her NOT being able to be Calm Mom Friend that's a good chance to do it. Right now I am thinking some or all of Mortally Wounded Husband, Barbequed Brother, Sad Dead Sister-in-Law*, and Alive But Not Happy Children. :'| - She is going to be encouraging people to talk about Having Died because she knows you can't bottle that shit up!! - all the disasters and shit are going to keep her HOPPING. do you have any healing / medical knowledge whatsoever?? congrats you're in the arztenritter.
* thanks to Plot Reasons, Ethlyn falsely remembers that she tried and failed to save her sister-in-law from being abducted by evil robes-wearing plotters. this didn't actually happen.
How can you run into my character? Ethlyn runs the Willow Clinic, which you can find if you look for the incongruous FARMHOUSE in the middle of a city block. She is always recruiting people to the Arztenritter (EMTs but with horses and chocobos instead of ambulances) so if your character so much as hints as having taken a first aid class once she will try to get them on board. If she's not in the Clinic, she is probably running errands for it.
She's also a skilled swordswoman and horsewoman and practices both daily outside the city.
