Character: Visas Marr Canon: Knights of the Old Republic II Canon Point: Postgame
Crime: "Abrogation"
Background: Visas is the former slave of a Sith Lord who went around consuming life through the Force and consumed her home planet because it was 1. populated by a naturally Force-sensitive species and 2. hosting a Jedi conclave that was trying to figure out the mysterious dark force killing Jedi (they found out). She went from being someone who was probably a normal person getting along in a post-war Galaxy to a crushed and shattered individual who craved silence and death, and who had no moral compunctions about bringing that about.
And then one day she sensed the presence of a person as wounded, if not moreso, than herself--the Jedi Exile. When she went to bring the Exile to Darth Nihilus, the Exile defeated her and then showed Visas mercy. Seeing that the Exile was suffering so much and yet refused to cave to apathy and despair shook Visas to her core. She renounced Nihilus and swore herself to the Exile's service instead.
Without either master, Visas is at something of a loose end. She doesn't know what to do with herself right now. She's also still unlearning some of the more horrible ways of thinking that she adopted while she was a Sith (it is BAD to throw grenades in a crowded place to CAUSE MORE CASUALTIES, VISAS).
Abilities: Visas is a Force user which means she can do the telekinesis thing, and she also has a few scary Dark Side powers. As a Miraluka, her species doesn't have eyes but sees through the Force (see below for permissions post w/r/t that). However, her sight was damaged when her world was destroyed, and she still struggles with figuring out if her perceptions are correct.
She's also got a lightsaber, and--oddly enough--has a better-than-decent command of computer skills.
Plans: Visas just got here and is still very weirded out by Expiation! She's a little bit less upset by the NPCs (now she views them as basically, very advanced droids) but she still doesn't like them and doesn't interact with them much. She is also perplexed by her crime and will probably be asking people about theirs now because she is just confused why she's been accused of "abrogation" when she's committed any number of actual murders. What the hell is this abstract nonsense. (It's because after her planet's destruction, she devoted herself entirely to Nihilus, and then devoted herself entirely to the Exile, and it would be nice if she could develop a sense of self or something.)
Because Visas' social skills are kind of uhhh fractured, she is weirdly inclined to have deep philosophical conversations right off the bat! She does not know what she's doing here or what she's supposed to do here so she'll have lots of questions about that in any given encounter, probably.
How can you run into my character? She's moved into a basement. With the glitches and disasters, however, she won't be able to get very attached to that basement, so you might find her in your house. She'll use NPC houses freely (because they're like droids to her so she doesn't give a heck about taking their stuff if she needs it) but she might wind up in your character's!
If she sees people in trouble from blizzards/heatwaves/etc, she will ALSO... be trying to help them. Because she's a Jedi now!!!1 And if the Exile isn't here to get involved with every person who's had a bad time in a postwar galaxy, Visas is going to have to pick up the slack somehow.
???: Visas' species sees through the Force, and she is able to perceive the general moral alignnment of others--with OOC permission, naturally. Canonically her Sight has been damaged so if you would like to opt-out she just will be unable to see it.
