Background: Dream is the anthropomorphic personification of all living consciousness—or at least he was. His physical body may be mortal now, but he's still got the vibes of a mopey cosmic entity. Basically, he oversees the Dreaming, which is where everyone's dreams and nightmares come from, and since he was created to oversee all of that, he's had to repress all of his emotions, which ... goes about as well as you'd expect.
Abilities: While Dream won't be actively controlling anyone's dreams and nightmares here, he can induce them—we'd just need to plot that out together! Otherwise, he's a shapeshifter (and sometimes known to wander around looking like a giant Maine Coon), can teleport (short distances), create (small) things, and use magic—all which necessitate he take breaks now, thanks to the aforementioned mortal body thing. Fun!! (Not fun for him, he'll be supremely annoyed.)
Plans: I'm really itching to dig into Dream's development and force him to get in touch with his emotions, which he's been willfully ignoring for centuries now. Making friends would also be really wonderful. Dream tends to fall down on that pretty hard, but he's trying to make an effort now. Also a dream/nightmare opt-in plot down the line maybe? There's potential here!
