Anything Else?: Hi my name is Skull, I'm an Aussie and I enjoy dnd a Normal Amount. I play a lot of rpgs and mmos (chances are, if you name one I've either tried it myself or know someone who has) and likely a fair clip of other stuff but, y'all know how it is with intros. The moment you have to talk about it, it all falls out of your head ;A;

Character: Lion Ushiromiya
Canon: Umineko no Naku Koro ni (or Umineko: When They Cry, for the Steam title)
Canon Point: End of EP7 Tea Party. Y'know, after all the cat vore.

Crime: Being born

Background: so this is a story / all about how my life / got flipped turned upside down-

okay no. But Lion's backstory is actually really boring and mundane until the point where it isn't. They're just a perfectly ordinary [NUMBER EXPUNGED] rich brat who lived a perfectly ordinary life on their private island off the coast of Niijima! A thing anyone could have!

And then a weird asshole in a blue coat showed up and they've never known peace since.

Personality wise, they're relatively mild and polite and fond of just going with the flow, if you ignore their internal running monologue of catty snark. They are also, coincidentally, a massive walking spoiler for the deeper mystery of Umineko - so read their app at your own risk. (I have an opt out for that, and also for the long long list of Umineko content warnings, over here.)

Abilities: You may have noticed a theme here, but Lion is a totally normal person who really isn't all that normal at all once you get down to it. They have the potential to do some really wild shit with magic, but that's all something they prefer never, ever think about.

Also, they can talk in colours sometimes. That's a neat party trick.

Plans: Aside from the obligatory "everything", I'm excited to fling them at an IC mystery and untangle the general Shenaniganry going on around this bizarre crime testing island.

Personally, however, I'm hoping the premise of the game - as well as CR with other characters, both positive and negative - will force them to confront that they're nowhere near as normal and happy as they appear on the surface, and that people can be three-dimensional multifaceted beings that can do really awful things without it ruining their lives forever. (If it makes them miserable in the process, so much the better.)

They're also good at nudging others to look after themselves, if you need a bossyboots to keep your character in line!

???: look ep7 got no memes, i work with what i've got at this point
