Michel seems like a really interesting character to explore in a DWRP game, and I think he and Ethlyn could talk about things like family and expectations. Although her own experience of that is way, way rosier than his, her friends (basically all nobility) sure have THEIR SHARE of contentious relationships with parents/spouses/siblings/etc. Also she'd definitely rib him about having to live at a level below luxury, because she's from very medieval times and she's not immune to being nettled that people are complaining about "only" having things that are way beyond what she's had available to her even as a princess.
