UPDATED CALENDAR IS HERE.

FLORA / FAUNA
The Flora and Fauna pages are now updated! We’ll be using this more regularly for status effects for the world, so keep on contributing! We prefer to have submissions from canons that are already in-game, but a couple things from ones that aren’t are okay so we can round out some more stuff!

THIS MONTH IN ALDRIP

MAP UPDATE

Thanks to Fandaniel shoving Hyperetes into a tree, players will get a status bar in the top right corner of their tablet. It’s not too big, not big enough to obscure everything, but it is reading:

Every now and then, it goes up a percentage, but it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere that quickly. Strange! When is that gonna be finished, I wonder?

ENVIRONMENT

What’s that noise? Did your friend call for you? No, that wasn’t them. They’re not even around you! But the noise keeps coming and coming, and imitating and imi–

what is that?

With the warmer weather, parrot grass may start popping up in more abundance, now that some things are starting to be set right in Aldrip. They’re not harmful of course, but they’re annoying as hell, considering that they can sound exactly like anyone.

Gyshal greens are also starting to pop back up in the fields outside of Aldrip. There may even be a curious Chocobo or two that might be coming back around, but they’re even more jumpy after the monster attack. But if there’s a banquet of their favorite food… ? Well, guess they can’t turn it down.

Early summer has come to Aldrip, though. There’s some days that have warm showers that last only a few minutes, and others that last all day. It seems to be helping clean the city and the remnants of the corruption from the monster too, though. The locals aren’t so happy about the rain, muttering about the wet and the mud in their shops and homes as they move around the city. Chosen who have been helping rebuild the city and repair relationships with the locals find themselves more accepted by them, and those who have them working in their businesses find they come around to work more often. Every once in a while though, someone may hear a rumor about another Chosen, though… seems like the rumor mill is still around, even when not in Rumpitur.

WISH MONSTERS

For those who still haven’t confronted their wishes, their behavior will become even more erratic. And it seems as if… their skin is turning black, as well. Almost as if it’s rotting off…

QUESTING

Those who completed quests over in Rumpitur, will find that wherever they go, things will start growing just a bit brighter and a bit bigger around them. Is that flower leaning towards you? Where did that strawberry bush come from?? It’s as if being in Aldrip now after doing that is reversing some of the corruption that had been there.

MAGICAL BULLSHIT MCGUFFIN

Drumroll please…

Kurt Wagner has received his magical bullshit mcguffin!

What is it, you may ask? When Kurt opens it, he’ll find a small glass inside. It may look kind of innocuous at first, but then it looks like Kurt can see through it to see how things really are, and are able to “see” through lies. That’s not ominous at all, is it?

OOPS?

The Naga who are still selling some of their wares might be a little ticked off at Ellie and her CR for the headache she caused them. Anyone else steal from them? Yeah, they don’t like you or your CR, either.
