I'm trying my hand at working with clay, but I can't go too hard on it since my carpal tunnel yells at me if I work for too long.

Crime: Mmmmurder. He's not surprised, just disappointed. In himself.
Background: A snake-man who was raised by a theater troupe that proceeded to traumatize him for life, while instilling an almost fanatic love of art in him. As an adult, he now works for a pharmaceutical company, but occasionally sees combat-- which is ill-advised, because part of the trauma imposed on him is a certain liking for blood and murder (because he was taught that's art too), and Shalem has trouble keeping that under wraps. He likes keeping people at arm's length because he doesn't want to put them in danger when his past inevitably catches up with him. Sad snake is just waiting to die, and he hopes it'll be soon since he has a terminal illness (except I have Plans for that, you see).

Abilities:Here! To summarize: he has a lot of physical and magical strength but nerfs himself on purpose. And yes, he's indeed a snek. A nope rope. A danger noodle.
Plans: First and foremost, I want to start addressing his terminal illness since I don't want it to just progress and end up with a dead snek on my hands, since him dying means his illness becomes infectious and pandemic plots are Not Fun. Maybe I'll keep it in remission or maybe I'll have it cured, we shall see! I also want some character development on Shalem's side regarding his trauma and coming to terms with the not-so-nice sides of himself that he's trying to hide or ignore, but I won't pursue those too hard or too quickly since I'm sure canon will introduce new things that will kick any plans of mine into the dirt. As any canon with regular updates tends to do.
