Character: Astralin Turnont Canon: Original Canon Point: Demetria's seal breaking, modern times
Crime: Murder in the second degree
Background: Astralin is a former nobleman (legit the dude was set to be an actual prince) before his family left nobility. He comes from a powerful bloodline of magic users, so the man is a prodigy of sorts. It's bc of that, he's kidnapped at some point in his life. He killed the dude that kidnapped him, and eventually escaped, being saved by his future wife and husband after esacaping. When he goes back home, he essentially just continued his life as a farmer until war broke out. Once the war started, and assassins started to come after him, he became a contractor to Crimson (the resistance) to heal wounded soldiers and fight with them.
After the war, he continued his life as a farmer, and eventually, he has children and what not. There's centuries of peace, until the seal that Demetria is kept under is broken and that's where he's at in life right now. BASICALLY THE "Ah shit, here we go again" meme.
Abilities:
- Spirit Magic: He has the ability to take raw energy, and convert it into magic disks that he can throw. These disks can immediately vaporize his target, and basically cause a lot of destruction in his wake. He tries not to use this ability as much, as it uses quite a bit of energy and it's overpowered. It's basically nuclear powers. (Will be unable in Expiation)
- Scythe Proficiency: His main weapon is a scythe. He can move around quickly, and do aerobic flips with his scythe to perform his attacks. There's a lot of spinning, and flipping involved with his scythe, so he has fun with it. There's also a weightless enchantment on the scythe to make it easy to move around with.
- Ice magic: Astralin can summon icicle spears with his ice magic, and use it as a throwing weapon. He can also conjure up an ice shield to protect himself or someone else if they're in trouble. General ice abilities, like diamond dust and ice spears.
He has a creationism ability with his ice magic. He's able to create simple things, such as vases, flowers, ice sculptures, chairs, furniture and what have you. Just simple things like that. He is also able to preserve food and flowers by infusing his ice magic into those items.
- Restorative Magic: Surprisingly, despite his aloof nature, he is a proficient healer. He can mass heal those around him who are injured, without using too much of his power. He can heal through deep wounds, and can save people from the brink of death. (Nerf in Expiation: Not able to heal from the brink of death, but he can heal wounds, fractures, and broken bones.)
- Monster transformation: Man, he's not gonna really use this, but he DOES have it.
Plans: I actually want Astralin to come face to face with his sentencing, eventually. He's well aware that he's got a LOT of blood on his hands, despite the fact the people he killed were people trying to kill him. He knows there's some truth to this charge, because he doesn't view himself as fully innocent.
As for CR, i wouldn't mind more friends for him! He's a bit more open since first coming here, and he's open to being friends with people. He's quite the gentle giant, and I think having a farm with animals on them helps being a good conversation starter lmao.
