Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're trying something new for this month, including an EMP element since it's an app month! We have an APP THIS PLEASE and ENABLE ME PLEASE in the comments below with a form, so if you're interested in participating, use the form and comment under the subject title applicable. Other than that, the regular comments will go as a normal CR meme would!

COMING SOON TO THEATERS: OCTOBER TDM
New arrivals will find themselves in Pessiria Forest this go-around, and while the somewhat creepy happenings from the fog have let up quite a bit, they're not gone entirely. There's a chill in the air, and local events are sure to put a chill down your spine to match.

HARVEST TIME
The tables have turned and now the crops would like to eat YOU! Killer tomatoes, sour apples, and angry onions are just a taste of what's in store. Newcomers might find themselves in need of a helping hand to defend their very lives and figure out the source of these mysteriously carnivorous crops.

Who's up for a feast after all of this is done? (Are those veggies still good to eat, do you think…?)

CREATURE FEATURE
Newcomers and resident Chosen alike are asked to use their fancy new tablets to catalog new fauna for a variety of rewards: money, goods/services, increased favor, etc. Problem is, what you're finding is...........weird. Spliced animals, chimeras, catdogs, all sorts of strange creatures seem to be appearing.

As for the source? You may be asked to find that, too. But watch out, because whatever, or whomever, is responsible might not want to be found.

FEED ME, SEYMOUR
Plants are now taking requests! Some of them may be benign or even silly: water lilies asking Chosen to take a swim with them, ferns asking to be watered, venus fly traps who need help catching flies. They may even ask for items, human food, or to be entertained. Weird.

Just don't give them any blood. Unless you'd like to get eaten, that is.

Canon: Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Canon Point: You are forced to watch helplessly as Ethlyn and her husband Quan are cut down by the dracoknights of Thracia because despite the fact that it happens DURING REGULAR GAMEPLAY, they and you are doomed by geoeffects

Crime: "The crimes of the Grannvale Empire"

Background/Personality: Ethlyn thinks she is the sensible one out of her husband and brother. This is technically true! Unfortunately her husband and brother are a couple of the most hubristic men on the continent of Jugdral and insist that their good intentions are paving a road away from hell until they actually hit the flames. (Literally, in her brother's case.) Everything is comparative, really.

In spite of her capacity for making plenty of her own bad decisions, however, Ethlyn really is a caring and sensitive person. She feels responsible for just about everyone she meets and is the sort of person who always has to be busy with something in order to be satisfied--that's why she founded the Arztenritter and recently took over a local clinic. Recent events have forced her to acknowledge the fact that her death and its consequences weigh far too heavily on her to cope with on her own and she can't just power through it by Keeping Busy. This also means that she will be trying to help other people who got walloped by ensuring that they aren't pushing everything down and trying to surpress their feelings, either. Because emotional health is just as important as physical health!

Abilities:
- Healing: She has a magic healing staff and she's supplemented her medieval-era knowledge with a lot of modern medical textbooks since arriving here.
- Riding: Good on horses! Less good on chocobos.
- Sword's: Her family is divinely blessed to have an aptitude for swordfighting. She keeps in practice daily and can competently use about any type of sword she lays her hands on, even if she's never actually fought with it before.

Plans: Ethlyn got walloped by the labyrinth last month--she was forced to relive her and her husband's last moments (and the abduction of her daughter) and then she got visions of what happened afterwards. So while she now has the comfort of knowing that her children did survive past the age of two (yay!!!) it is also clear that their lives have been pretty awful so far. And also the ancient empire that was only overthrown by a literal miracle has come back, which means her brother and father are probably dead too.

Fortunately, Ethlyn learned a lesson from the last time she got run over by a metaphorical train and will actually be taking it easy and willing to talk to people about everything that happened.

Ethlyn will also be investigating the disappearances of Aldrip townsfolk, if anyone would like to join her in that--following the notes to the locations in the woods and POKING AROUND.

Since Ethlyn has lost a few pieces of CR over the summer, I'm also down to have her meet and befriend new people! Plus, ~~if I counted my proofs right~~ I counted my proofs right, so she'll be taking over the NPC clinic she's worked at and become its manager, so that will become a more official expansion of the Arztenritter. (She may be looking for people willing to be counselors/therapists soon. SEEMS LIKE A NICHE THAT SHOULD BE FILLED.)
