Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're now inclding an EMP element since it's an app month! We have an APP THIS PLEASE and ENABLE ME PLEASE in the comments below with a form, so if you're interested in participating, use the form and comment under the subject title applicable. Other than that, the regular comments will go as a normal CR meme would! Also, the TDM will be posted in the log comm with old and new characters alike able to top-level on it.

IT'S... A PARTY? FEBRUARY TDM Festive preparations As a show of good faith to the Ketsoran delegation, Aldrip's locals hastily turn the events center into an elegant reception hall. Apparently it's Ketsoran tradition: visitors to your city should be welcomed with a lavish party--the more days and expenses paid, the better. Aldrip is determined to make this party generous and decadent enough to appease their neighbors to the south. There's a long, long list of things to do in preparation--not just setting up for this party, but rebuilding and cleaning up damages left behind from January's events. Between February 5 and February 12, Chosen may be asked, volunteered, or guilted into helping get this party set up. They may be asked to run errands between businesses, decorate the events center, prepare food, learn how to play music and perform (or some other talent of their choosing. jokes? juggling? anyone?)...the sky (and your imagination) is the limit. A masked affair Another Ketsoran tradition: masks and formal attire will both be required to attend this party--and it is very important that the Chosen attend this party, since one of their own was responsible for the tension. Tailors and seamstresses will be adamant about making sure the Chosen are clothed immaculately in formal wear, though they can be talked into various styles, colors, and aesthetics, so long as they can be convinced that the Ketsorans will be pleased. Characters found avoiding the party can easily be cajoled into attending. The locals are being pretty forceful about this. A night at the ball The party will go on for several days, with drinking, dancing, and good food. Effects going throughout the month (for example, Missile Toads II: The Electric Boogaloo) will still be up for play here. Partygoers will also be able to sign up for a Dance Card. Be warned, though: those who sign up for this dance card will find themselves missing a handful of things (of your choosing) such as memories, physical/mental traits, abilities, or items. The only way to get these things back is by completing the dance card--meaning, dancing with others throughout the week and getting their names on those cards.

About: Another edgelord coming right in!! Vanitas is self-proclaimed doctor, who's made it his life goal to save every damn vampire out there with his magical book, despite them not wanting it. Vanitas is that kind of a scumbag who just makes it his business to annoy everyone on purpose. He'll insult you to make you dislike him - unless he sees some worth in you. So yes, that kind of asshole. emotionally stunted and self-loathing, "the end justifies means" kinda guy. But at least he's kinda funny?

THIS IS A MAYBE. Since I am still pretty new to Vanitas canon. I do want to put him on tdm to see how he'll play against the rest of you and the setting. uwu

Background/Personality: Superhero with the ability to manipulate temperature on each half of his body and in tandem. He does have some childhood issues with his parents that deal in the realm of abuse. So CW for that. Can definitely be written around, excluded or done to preference, just hit me up and let's chat if you need to. Unless it comes up he doesn't lore dump himself anymore like he used to. He's a helpful sort to a fault and will go out of his way to make sure something is done if someone needs a hand.

Abilities: As above ability to manipulate temperature on each half of his body and in tandem with one another.

Plans: No plans, I like going with whatever flow comes about. I have older TL's I'm enjoying so I'm not sure how many TLs I will have this time.

How can you run into my character? Shoto goes out to train a lot, he doesn't have a set job but he makes it up by doing odd jobs or helping around his community. Or rather, he did until the obvious. So maybe a static job will be better, we'll see into the future I guess!

???: RLwise just editing this, sometimes if work hits me with a hard deadline I have to stop what I'm doing, and it can take me a day or so to get back at times.

Canon Point: They met the guy they’ve been trying to track down for a few hundred years, and then got dropped into Aldrip. They’re actually interested in learning about themself now, but they’re still perfectly willing to try to murder people.

Crime: Murder.

Background/Personality: Avalon has spent their entire existence trying to fill an internal void that they don’t understand. They started out trying to understand themself through other people, and when that didn’t work they made a purpose out of murder. They’ve recently learned more about what they are, and are interested in exploring their species further. They think that they completely lack emotions and have issues with their identity. They haven’t yet decided to start mimicking the personality of anyone in Aldrip, so they’re basically acting like an emotionless husk at the moment.

Abilities: They can take on the physical form of any living thing that they can picture, and complete partial shifts like changing their hair color. They can manipulate their body to match anything that they’ve seen or can picture, and sense the emotions of people nearby. They can make telepathic contact with your character or take a PC’s physical form with OOC permission.

Plans: I want them to start figuring out that they don’t actually lack emotions. Outside of that, they might be trying to attack people.

How can you run into my character? They don’t really have any routines or habits yet. They’ve been exploring Aldrip, so you can probably find them anywhere there, but they’re not really interested in leaving. As far as jobs go, I think I’ll have them start putting out feelers this month. They’re the type to go around doing odd tasks.

Canon: Persona 3 but like just the PS2 version instead of the one everyone likes or the one that comes out tomorrow.
Canon Point: October 4th, 2009.

Crime: Loitering. It's less of a jokey meme answer than it sounds, promise, lmao.

Background/Personality: Orphan turned occult child soldier who actually coped pretty well until he did a whoopsie and got all sad about it. Now he's just kind of a dry, grouchy dude who doesn't see the point in trying a lot of the time. Crouching tsundere, Hidden Idiot. I don't take him seriously and no one else should either.

Abilities: A Persona! It's a big monster he can summon! It smashes things!! It's a manifestation of himself?? It looks like big metal skeleton pogohprse being ridden by a guy drawn by rob liefield. Don't think too hard about it.

Also Shinjiro hates the damn thing so he barely uses it anyway unless there's like a huge monster attack. And even the.... eh.

Plans: The only plans I have are vague and sort of internal. I gave Shinji the crime 'Loitering' to sort of explore the nature of guilt and inaction, the ramifications of refusing to move on for both yourself and others. I'm signing up for sentencing this month, so if it happens I will either be able to grapple that concept OR I will have something to shitpost into infinity with, and either are fine with me.

Also this month I get to DRESS HIM UP SO HELL YEAH

How can you run into my character? Shinji often takes whatever monster extermination quests get posted! Listen he has one skill (that he advertises) and it's hitting nightmare beasts with an unreasonable size JRPG character axe. So he does that for money.

Once Kotone's club house gets rebuilt, he's sure to get dragged to her COOKING CLUB... home boy here is a great home cook. He'll also probably be out on the farm a bit more and learning How To Animal, mostly so I can have some hilarious threads shearing sheep or smth with Vash and Knives.

Other than that, he does a fair amount of wandering and people watching. He mostly just lurks the network, half because he doesn't think he has anything worth saying most of the time, and half because he hasn't gotten a tablet yet and doesn't know he could be playing Microsoft solitaire on that bitch.

I can also wrote him being anywhere else doing anything because like. It's RP. If anyone has a stupid idea, I'm probably all for it, so lets just yeehaw.

Plans: one of the Chosen seems to be responsible for the explosion & the war between ketsora and rumpitur. if you haven't figured out who is responsible for this act, hi. it's me. i did it. but don't you worry, jinx is being punished for it. her punishments this month are:

→ jinx gets "house arrested" in Aldrip. can't leave, has to stick around, if she tries to leave she'll run into a barrier-type thing

→ jerry brings in jinx to the council for some "re-progamming", and when she leaves she's unable to do anything violent, use shimmer, or even look at anything violent without feeling ill and in pain for a month.

so come, point, and laugh at her misfortune!!

Crime: faking an identity.

Background/Personality:ex-celebrity, ex-detective, ex-assassin, ex-alive. A man of many trait. He's like an onion, the more you peel of him the more you cry.

In the past Akechi used to work with police department, solving mysterious violent crimes and gained popularity, becoming TV station's sweetheart. Turns out he actually was the true culprit behind many of those crimes he solved (oops) while working towards a conspiracy to help certain people in power to gain control of the country. There was a God involved there too. Anyway, now he realizes he was done goofed and is pretty much tired of pretending, being his lovely asshole-self. Tho during his stay at he's been somewhat domesticated so..

Abilities: Being a Persona user, Akechi has some demon voices in his brain. He can summon both Loki and Robin Hood, giving him access to Bless, Curse and Almighty spells. Other than that he's ok with sword and excellent gunmanship skills.

Plans: Last month was very eventful for Akechi. He failed his sentencing task and got his memories wiped as a punishment. He was Very Pleasant to everyone during the event and helped ppl to evacuate rather than join in the fight.

So, Akechi is pretty livid about that. He's both moody and sulky. So aggro times? Also, he's kinda decided that he wants to stay in Aldrip instead of leaving back home so he's going to be more involved with the community now! Meaning he'll be more open to forming human contacts and bonds with others.. maybe even friendships??

I'm going to dress him up nice and princely for the event. So plz do come dance with him. Also I'm game for horny toads playing tricks.

How can you run into my character? UMM. I'm so bad at these but Akechi can be found around the Aldrip. He's often at his Law Office, library and lupin. He also sometimes goes to woods to kill some monsters. For this month he'll be trying his best to help to rebuild the city and volunteer at stuff (don't let him cook).

Crime: Disturbing the peace (look it could have been worse)

Background/Personality: Vash is just a Normal Guy (not nonhuman at all, nope) who really, really, really loves helping people and being there for everyone all the time forever. Sounds pretty awful, right? He is a classic people pleaser, ignores his own problems (and runs away from them), because if he keeps his body moving and his mind occupied at all times with Making Himself Useful to others, he can avoid falling into the pit of despair.

Abilities: He comes with a miscellaneous set of skills - mostly relating to survival / outdoors but he is good with animals?? (well, at least one species of space birds). Vash is also a very good and precise sharpshooter. His other canon abilities are really a moot point here bc they are ~space alien~ stuff that he doesn't yet have access to, but at least he's got a cool metal arm that can shoot a spiderman swingy stuff. Come on please let him help, he can be useful!

Plans:
➤ Vash will be helping out Shinji and Kotone at the farm and Learning How To Animal! It will be FUN and he is going to help SO MUCH.

➤ He is also probably going to help out with the rebuilding / party setup! Running deliveries and rebuilding is going to be his main preoccupation this month (as well as being assaulted by the TOADS some more), so if you have any deliveries needing to be made to your business (or if you need a toad buddy), Vash is your friendly neighbourhood plant!

➤ He is going to "gently" wrangle his brother Knives into attending the party with him ... Please play nice with the murder gremlin.

➤ LET'S DO DANCE CARDS!!! Teach Vash how to dance? Maybe so he doesn't trip over his own feet? Please?

➤ Vash will probably hear the CHARITY FUNDRAISING and jump into the auction and don't realise it is a DATE auction. Can someone save him ...

How can you run into my character? Vash will probably be found ANYWHERE ... He isn't volunteering for monster extermination but he can be talked into going to one. Since he is still a new arrival I'd love for him to get more cr and also I'd love to work on strengthening the cr he has already :) Hit me up, I'm so open for ideas!

Abilities: Guns. Levi is real good with guns, mostly rifles and used to be a sharpshooter in his world. Also he's got some magic powers but it makes him crazy to use it

Plans: No huge plans, but Levi's gonna get some of those frog drugs that will make him more chatty/happy. So he'll actually talk to people ^^; I may put up something but not sure yet

How can you run into my character? He likes to hide in his room in the inn with occasional trips to do odd jobs or hunt monsters for money. the locals will likely bully him into helping set up party easily, though

Crime: Literally getting involved in the mafia.

Background/Personality: Tsuna is the reluctant tenth generation heir to the Vongola mafia family. He was just supposed to be a guy, read a loser middle school student, but everyone else who was probably better at being a mafia boss than him either seriously beefed it or was an absolute dick, so he got the job. And well, sometimes the people who don't want to lead are the best for the job. But despite that, Tsuna's kind of cagey about those details, largely because, you know, mafia and all that.

But beyond that, he's your average shonen protagonist just trying to do his best. He's a bit clumsy and not the smartest, but he's got a lot of heart and is extremely loyal to his friends. Or do you need a straight man to react to your shenanigans? Although he's also a trouble magnet. He doesn't ask for chaos, it just follows him home.

Abilities: Dying Will - Manifesting as bright orange flames, Tsuna is able to use Dying Will to fight and fly. He enters into a specific mode known as Hyper Dying Will mode which gives him a bit of extra focus as he uses his power to it's full extent. His flames, in particular, are Sky Flames, which have the power of Harmonization.

Hyper Intuition - While I don't usually play this up, Tsuna has a Hyper Intuition that usually allows him to pick up on lies, vibes, and can see through illusions.

Plans:
-Tsuna will probably be interested in helping with the Ketsoran delagation and keeping the peace. While he's reluctant about it, he does have some skill in getting disagreeable parties to work together and encouraging friendships!

-Also looking at some Horny Toad issues, such as seeing things that aren't there and a compulsion to tell the truth. You want to find out more about this mafia boy? And also the fact that he's a terrible student with failing grades? And all his fears? Also the girl he has a crush on back home? It's Skullitis all over again.

-Charity date auction you say? Tsuna can probably awkward his way through that.

How can you run into my character? Tsuna is usually around town running errands and doing odd jobs. Or trying to do odd jobs before he inevitably knocks something over. He's been working on cleaning up his home, painting and maybe doing something with the lawn? But he's around.

Canon: Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Canon Point: Ethlyn and her husband return after a whole gameplay chapter away, but they're NPCs for some reason and then an enemy army appears behind them, and you can do nothing but WATCH as they are cut down turn by TURN

Crime: "The crimes of the Grannvale Empire"

Background/Personality: Noblewoman and battlefield healer from a family with a better sense of personal responsibility than political acumen, to their tragic cost. Her brother's attempt to help a couple of friends was used to create an empire out of their homeland, and he and pretty much all of his friends (including Ethlyn and her husband Quan) were betrayed and killed.

Ethlyn herself is the mom friend, but she is kind of the self-appointed one who will take it upon herself to act that way whether you want her to or not. She is also the leader of the Arztenritter (basically EMTs on horses, plus now Toph who is their new earthbending ambulance!) and is always looking to recruit new healers! And she runs the Willow Clinic. She's kind, no-nonsense when it comes to health and healing, and she still hasn't lost the little sister instinct to be annoying for the fun of it.

She's starting to come to terms with some of the ways she and her family failed, as well as the trauma of having actually died. She sees Expiation less as a prison than as a second chance and a possible way to get back to her family and save them from some of the shit that befell them.

Abilities: Healing, sword's, and horseback riding. She has augmented her "magic + medieval" level of knowledge with things like germ theory and advanced anatomy, so she's even better at the healsies than she used to be.

Plans:
Ethlyn's hobbyhorse is the Arztenritter, and right now it's down to 4 people + Toph the Ambulance. So she will be looking for anyone who has an inclination for healing! Another thing that she legitimately wants to do is start a Dead People Support Group, for anyone who (like her) got here by actually dying.

I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to give her a dance card yet, but she will be fully participating in masquerade and diplomacy shenanigans! She's pretty suspicious of this "tradition" by the Ketsorans but since they did cause a big explosion there, they probably aren't in a position to actually question it. She'll also be running around helping with cleanup in general. She'll also be trying to help treat the side effects of the TOAD VENGEANCE but probably with a lot less success than the corruption because it's funnier that way.

She also successfully completed her sentence a while ago, so she has a small Plot Puzzle Piece that she's still gotta share!! I keep forgetting.

How can you run into my character? Pretty much anywhere! Ethlyn's a busy bee and with the damage to the town, she's not seeing a reason to put her feet up right now. She's often found at the clinic or running errands around town.

Character: Rolo Lamperouge
Canon: Code Geass

Crime: Serial murder

Background/Personality: Rolo was trained and working as an assassin since childhood, until he spent a year undercover as Lelouch's little brother and got a little too attached. He's still down to murder at the drop of a hat but he's figuring out how to be an actual human! Slowly. He's extremely emotionally stunted and his personality these days is an awkward synthesis of the coldly rational spy-assassin and the meek civilian. He generally tries to be unobtrusive but he also tends to shank first and ask questions later, especially where Lelouch is concerned.

Abilities: Besides being trained with various kinds of weapons, Rolo has a crazy power called a Geass that lets him freeze people's perception of time. He mostly uses this for quick and easy short-range assassination. The downside is that his heart also stops while he's using it, so it's limited to short bursts.

Plans: Rather than maintain a regular job, Rolo mostly has been doing odd jobs, especially monster hunting and whatnot because his skillset is pretty much just "good at killing things". He's also getting tangled up with bad influences as a result because there's only so many people that will pay for that skillset.

I also very much want to make use of Frog Shenanigans: Part 2! It'd be a good way to get him talking since he isn't very social normally, and the party will have plenty of opportunities for eating frogtaminated food with other people around. I'm also thinking of ways to get him signed up for the dance card thing, because he definitely wouldn't do it himself, but he'd be very determined to finish it if he lost his Geass until it was completed.

I'm new here so plans are still vague, but I'd like to explore Rolo figuring out feelings and genuine relationships and all that. He's not a sociopath, but he's pretty much lacking in empathy from how he was raised and needs to learn it from scratch. He's sticking with the civilian persona by default for now so as far as most strangers are concerned, he's just a kinda shy teen boy who clings to his older brother too much. He's susceptible to people just treating him with kindness and affection, but it'll take some work for him to actually trust or open up to anyone. I'm open to any kind of CR, positive or negative, and absolutely hit me up if you want your character to die for any reason lol

How can you run into my character? While he doesn't have a standard workplace, Rolo does lurk around the flower shop a lot because Lelouch works there. And because of the odd jobs, he can probably be encountered anywhere in Aldrip or the nearby wilderness.

Background/Personality: Yu is Just a Normal Little Guy who woke up one day and realized he could stick his head inside the tv. Then came the brain demons, then came the inseparable friendship strengthened by moments of trauma. The real friendship was the trauma we made along the way.

In terms of personality, Yu: can't keep his nose in his own business, projects an accidental aura of coolness because he's so quiet, and is actually a giant nerd. Please be his friend. Persona games are the real "friendship is magic"

Abilities: Yu currently has 10 Personas and they all do different things, ranging from explosively destructive to actually kinda useless. He also fights with a sword. For some reason.

Plans: Yu caused problems on purpose* in the January event, so he has a lot to make up for (*it wasn't really on purpose, but you know how it is). He'll be helping with rebuilding efforts and generally trying to be as helpful as possible. He'll be at the big fancy party, sometimes working and sometimes having fun. He'll be doing a dance card too! As for the date auction, I haven't decided whether I'll sign him up, but he's gonna think it sounds fun and funny, so let's go. How can you run into my character? oh man there are so many things
-part-time jobs. in true protag fashion, Yu can be found working in any of the following places: cafe lupin, the arcade, running errands for the clinic, helping out around the inn, working shifts at various retail establishments, delivery errands, random sidequests. please bother him at work. convince him to be a slacker. he needs it.
-clubs. when the club building isn't a wreck (thanks scott), Yu can be found at cooking club, as well as Scott's teens with powers club. FOR RIGHT NOW, he'll be focusing on getting the building back together, but once it's in good shape, let's do shit
-Astralin's farm. Yu is a nerd who likes cats, and so, he feeds the stray cats at the farm. They kinda know him by now. If you see him with cat treats in his pocket, no you didn't
-just out and about. The boy can't just sit still and do nothing. he'll poke his nose into anyone else's business, and I'd gladly have it be yours.

Background/Personality: She’s the daughter of an affluent food company CEO. She’s got a mean green thumb, and picked up a strong interest in growing her own coffee/ finding her own way to show how she wanted Okumura Foods to be run during her confidant. When you meet her she’s a kind and well mannered sort of girl, and very shy. She forms meaningful relationships amidst the phantom thieves who ultimately decided to help her change her father’s distorted heart, and is able to blossom (get it because she gardens) into a strong and confident member of the team.

Abilities: She’s a persona user, which in persona 5 is a manifestation of the user’s innermost personality and their definition of “justice”. Haru specializes in psychokinetic attacks, and her close ranged weapon is a battle axe. ALSO SHE IS A MEAN GREEN THUMB, she will attempt to grow ANYTHING.

Plans: I'm still pretty new to expi, and I am still having Haru branch in several different directions. I would still love some gardening buddies for her, she has a few already that she met at the farm, and she's looking into getting her own space to have a garden at as well. NOT TO REPEAT MYSELF FROM MY LAST PLOT WITH ME BUT... I would love for her to make both positive and negative CR. I would like to see her against characters that have different definitions of “justice” or “what is right”. I'm fairly chill with any CR and I am definitely open to talking things about beforehand!

Background: Katsuki is a crude, rude ego-maniac who is on one of the biggest redemption arcs the world has seen, because his life goal is to become the Number One Hero!!! And you can't be the Number One Hero if you're an A W F U L former bully (especially the bully of Best Boy Izuku Midoriya :( !!) He yells a lot, everything pisses him off and your character is going to KNOW that, but underneath all of that explosive BS is a fiercely loyal friend who does have a heart of gold. He will fight for you, fight WITH YOU, and if you become actual friends with him, he will try to help you improve with him along the way. Might be a little pushy or heavy handed on that one, but he really does mean well!

It should be noted that I play Katsuki from a VERY Spoiler Heavy point in recent canon, so PLEASE let me know if you are okay with spoilers or NOT. I will make sure not to eff that up for anyone!

Abilities: Katsuki's quirk (or super power, for the canon blind) is called Explosion. His sweat is a nitroglycerine like substance that he can explode with his hands! Big booms, small booms, he even collects that sweat (ew, gross dude) and uses that in grenades and other "support" items to increase his capabilities. It's pretty awesome and he won't keep that a secret. More information is in his journal, if you'd like to read the full break down of it!

Another thing to note is he is very smart. One of the top kids in his class, don't let his shitty attitude fool you! Katsuki works very hard in everything he takes on, and is very upset by anything less than a flawless victory. He's a great addition to any adventuring team, in this regard.

Plans:

Sentencing: Katsuki has been signed up for sentencing, so we will see if the RNG gods hate him or not!!

Frogs: Dumbass tried to explode the frogs that caught him under the mistletoe, so I’m going to make him a prime target for their retaliation. He might even fall victim to this a few times before he finally catches on (who says the frogs can’t be ninjas about it??). What does this mean for his CR? WELL, WHATEVER YOU WANT. I love forcing him to be more cheerful or interactive, and while Katsuki doesn’t like a liar and therefore does not lie, he withholds a LOT of what’s going on inside. Forced honesty is a nightmare for him that I love. Likewise, he is not a physical person unless it entails a hardcore ASS BEATING, so craving closeness with people is also a fun one to explore. Katsuki also HATES the cold weather, so that’s another factor that helps facilitate shenanigans here haha!

I am also thinking of using the compulsion to serve others, the “cheer” and the want to be close to people as a way to get him to participate in either/BOTH the masquerade and the charity dating auction thing. These are more in the air based on interest, so just lemme know and we can work something out!

Aftermath/Cleanup/Repair/Etc He’s been around helping with cleanup efforts from the previous big battle, and likewise would be participating in the efforts to do the same in the aftermath of the big explosion. He has some expertise where explosions are concerned and might be feeling a little responsible on the inside considering he captured Jinx to prevent friendly fire in the big fight, and then let her go when it was over. HE IS SUS AF OF HER FOR SURE AT THE VERY LEAST. If you wanna just have your character run into him this way, that is also great :>

Background/Personality: Toph is a sassy gremlin child. She is here to be your overpowered little sister who punches you into bettering yourself. Underneath that, she has a soft heart and despite pretending she doesn't care, she will absolutely help people out just because it's the right thing to do. She's also legitimately a great teacher of both martial arts and magical abilities, and will take it upon herself to school anyone who needs it.

Abilities: Toph is the most powerful earthbender in the world and maybe of all time. It's good for a wide range of things from fighting to construction to art. She can also metalbend and sandbend as extensions of earthbending. She can even do some rudimentary lie detecting when speaking with others, though it's not too difficult to fool if the person has good emotional control of their physical reactions. All that being said, she is still blind, and that carries some serious limitations. She can't track things in the air and she can't 'see' unless she actively has contact with solid ground.

Plans: Some random half-formed thoughts for February events!!

    ➤ Some effects from the toads -- ones I'm interested in effecting Toph include chattier/happier than normal, confusion, craving physical closeness, compulsion to serve others. I think I'll be a little picky about who I do these with because I don't want to repeat them too much, so I probably won't include this as an open prompt anywhere, but please hit me up to plot if you want to do one of these!

    ➤ Toph couldn't care less about dressing up so she is going to show up to the fancy party in her normal clothes, unmasked, unless someone convinces her otherwise. NO ONE TELLS HER WHAT TO DO!! ... Unless she likes you. Then you can tell her. Someone please help and potentially take advantage of her being blind to give her a sweet mask.

    ➤ She does like food and although she doesn't dance she isn't a party pooper. She'll just be hovering around at the festivities themselves. Maybe someone can talk her into doing an earthbending kata as a show.

How can you run into my character? Toph is still occasionally fighting monsters out in the wild and around town helping rebuild Aldrip here and there. She doesn't treat it like a full-time job but there's no doubt plenty to do. She also somehow signed up to be the Arztenritter's one-girl ambulance / emergency medical transport, so if your character ends up needing that she can meet them there. Besides that, she's a naturally curious person who gets bored easily, so it's pretty easy to have her poke her nose into something.

I would love Ethlyn to run into Toph while she's under effect from Toads because she won't have much context for that being Not Normal for her. It might also be a good chance for them to share their backgrounds with each other so Ethlyn can be further scandalized by the fact that Toph was actually raised as an EXTREMELY proper young lady instead of a gremlin :D

Background/Personality: Emet-Selch is the main antagonist of the Shadowbringers expansion. Known to most as an 'Ascian', he is considered a paragon amongst others of his kind, along with two others. His current guise, however, is that of the first emperor of the Garlean Empire - Solus zos Galvus. First impressions paint him as a grumpy, dour man who acts a lot older than he looks. But get to know him better and maybe you'll see that he cares more than he lets on.

Abilities: He is functionally a god to most "normal, human" characters. He can create things out of seemingly nothing and is an incredibly strong mage. At least, he was before the nerf by Expiation. Also, weirdly enough, wields a greatsword and gunblade with skill (probably a lot of other weapons too but why learn something new?).

Plans:

THE BALL! Since the Chosen are obliged to show up, he'll be making a reluctant appearance. He's a pretty good dancer but he'd much rather be a wallflower.

My current idea is to have him forget his memories of everything relevant to Eorzea's modern history. That's...twelve thousand years of history, yep. (Told you he's old.) This means he will actually be a lot less bitter towards others and slightly more willing to entertain people if they nag enough because the source of his angst is temporarily gone.

Other than that? I currently have a network post where Emet has set up a communal healing circle.

How can you run into my character?
- Around Aldrip mainly, he has a house he shares with Hythlodaeus closer to the outskirts of the town
- In the forest gathering medicinal plants
- On call as a healer from the clinic/Artzenritter
- Doing the grocery shopping because he'll be damned if he lets Hythlodaeus manage that. Man would bankrupt them buying sweets.

Crime: Being a monster in human guise

Background/Personality: William was adopted and raised by a family of undead heroes after they rescued him from a group of demons intending to use him as a sacrifice. He grew up isolated from the world, but they taught him everything they knew so that he would be able to survive once he reached the age of maturity and left home. His middle and surname is a tribute to them: Au(G)ustus, Mary, and Blood. William's martial prowess and piety eventually earnt him the honour of being annointed a paladin. It is his life's goal to restore the name of his patron goddess, Gracefeel, and to fight against her sworn enemy, the god of undeath, Stagnate.

Abilities: He possesses the very typical abilities you would associate with a paladin. Wards against toxins, dark magic, the ability to steel his allies against fear etc., and also the power to lay the dead to rest. His physical strength is monstrous. He's not necessarily a spectacular mage but he's very good at adapting lesser spells to situations, which is more important than brute strength (as Gus taught him).

Plans:

- William has attended some formal events before so he probably knows how to dance. Probably. I don't know what missing things I would have for him yet though. Maybe possessions? I feel like him missing his memories isn't terribly interesting. Either way, he'll probably drop by people he's familiar with or see who's new.

- Other than that, he'll be recovering from organising the fight in January. Helping the townsfolk rebuild etc. It's a good time to spread the name of his goddess, Gracefeel! New players who would like to visit him, know that he has taken charge of a church formerly run by an NPC and is encouraging people of multiple faiths to gather there.

- I'm planning to give him a small canon update to the end of the Rust Mountain arc. Not this month but perhaps later to give him time to breathe.

How can you run into my character?
- As mentioned above, the Church of Many Faiths where he will offer minor healing in return for small donations to keep the place running
- Around Aldrip during rebuilding efforts
- Rumpitur maybe once every other week trying to talk with them and reassure them that he understands what they went through etc.
