Charity Date Auction ✤ OOC SIGN-UPS

Hello everyone! It's Lycoris, once again bringing you an excuse to be silly and get your characters dragged into Mitama's shenanigans!

Considering the recent events (and given how blood-thirsty y'all are being smh), Mitama has decided the Chosen are in a dire need of some levity. And since Valentine's Day is almost here and they were all invited to a fancy party, what's better way to celebrate it all but with...



It's exactly what it says on the tin! Characters who sign up (or get signed up, wink wink) will be up for auction and whoever pays the price will get to go on a date with them, oh my! For the sake of keeping things simple, this post will serve as OOC sign-ups, as well as claims for those who want to place a bid, and the auction itself will be handwaved so you can jump straight into the dating part. If the player is down for that, they can accept multiple winners and go on multiple dates! In fact, Mitama herself will encourage it because it's all for a good cause: all money from the event will be donated to the efforts to rebuild Aldrip!

And if you'd like some more randomness in your life, there's also an option for that, too! Anyone who's interested in bidding for a ~mystery date~ can do so by commenting below, and on next Monday, February 12th I'll RNG their partners!

2/9 - IC announcement
2/11 - ICly, that's when the auction will take place; OOCly, sign-ups close*
2/12 - RNG for those who bid for a ~mystery date~
rest of the month? - go on dates, partner it up for the party, form new bonds? PROFIT

*OOC sign-ups closing will only affect the RNG part; players are free to continue to plot and assume their characters participated if need be, of course!

For those who wish to offer themselves for the auction, please comment under the "DATE AUCTION SIGN-UPS" thread using the provided form! For those who want to bid on ~mystery date~, please comment under the "MYSTERY BID SIGN-UPS". Feel free to use this post for plotting purposes! Also, it would be helpful if the established winners of the auctions commented under the person they're bidding for, just for my reference when I get to RNG part.

As always, your friendly neighbourhood magical girl extraordinaire is here to help! Mitama is happy to sign people up without their knowledge/consent and then bully─ I mean, lovingly convince them to participate later ♥ Alternatively, she will also accept people signing up their friends (or enemies?!), because at the end of the day, the more, the merrier, and she's not gonna sweat about the details of how they made it to her list of victims participants.

1. she will definitely will be kicking and screaming. so mitama, sign her up please! she is bitter about relationships/dating right now.

2. if you end up with jinx, she is going through a time right now. for those that aren't aware of her current "condition", she's unable to do anything violent, use shimmer, or even look at anything violent without feeling ill and in pain. and because she is naturally a violent person, she is going to look.... very weak and worn out from all the sick and pain feelings.

3. she will also behave a little standoffish and distant, so be prepare for that. but hey! maybe you can open her up, make her smile, and give her a good time!

4. for those people who are canon blind to jinx and/or arcane, jinx has several mental illnesses, including the following: Schizophrenia, PTSD, Separation Anxiety, Hallucination, and some form of Dissociation. i'm mentioning these here because due to her current punishment, these illnesses (if not all of them) will more likely pop up because she is in distress. and the voices in her head are hounding her way more than usual. so something to keep in mind if you bid on her!

As far as what a bidder should be mindful of, Emet-Selch isn't very friendly on first glance but he won't be rude (well, he'll be less rude...) to whoever ends up winning a date with him once it's explained that this is for charity. Although he won't look terribly enthusiastic, if you can get him speaking on topics like politics or war and other moral conundrums then he can at least make for an interesting conversation partner.
