Character: Astralin Turnont Canon: Original Character Canon Point: Modern times, post Demetria's seal breaking.
Crime: Second Degree Murder.
Background: Astralin is a former noble turned farmer. He is a magical prodigy of sorts, and because of that, he was kidnapped and tortured. He managed to get away with the last bits of his remaining magic and basically escaped from a haunted mountain and found himself in the forest. He met his two loves in the forest, and escaped back home. Then the ori war started, and he had to basically fend of assassins so that gave him some major PTSD but it's ALL OKAY. After Demetria was sealed, there was 300 years of peace, but now that her seal is broken with the recent canon update, he's like welp there goes that peace! But right now he's working with his great granddaughter Marie at the magic school in their world. He's still a farmer at heart though, and hates fighting.
Abilities:
- Spirit Magic: He has the ability to take raw energy, and convert it into magic disks that he can throw. These disks can immediately vaporize his target, and basically cause a lot of destruction in his wake. He tries not to use this ability as much, as it uses quite a bit of energy and it's overpowered. It's basically nuclear powers. (Will be unable in Expiation)
- Scythe Proficiency: His main weapon is a scythe. He can move around quickly, and do aerobic flips with his scythe to perform his attacks. There's a lot of spinning, and flipping involved with his scythe, so he has fun with it. There's also a weightless enchantment on the scythe to make it easy to move around with.
- Ice magic: Astralin can summon icicle spears with his ice magic, and use it as a throwing weapon. He can also conjure up an ice shield to protect himself or someone else if they're in trouble.
I originally forgot to add this, but he has a creationism ability with his ice magic. He's able to create simple things, such as vases, flowers, ice sculptures, chairs, furniture and what have you. Just simple things like that. He is also able to preserve food and flowers by infusing his ice magic into those items.
- Restorative Magic: Surprisingly, despite his aloof nature, he is a proficient healer. He can mass heal those around him who are injured, without using too much of his power. He can heal through deep wounds, and can save people from the brink of death. (Nerf in Expiation: Not able to heal from the brink of death, but he can heal minor wounds and fractures.)
- Monster transformation: Astralin has the ability to transform into a monster. While in this form, he can summon tentacles that come out from the ground that turn to ice spikes and his ice magic becomes stronger than usual.
Plans: Right now, Astralin has a farm that people can just chill on, so we can people interested in having CR with him can linger onto his farm. At the moment, he's just taking his time at Expiation, and doing things day by day. I'm not too sure what my plans are for him still, but if you have anything in mind, let me know. I would love CR with anyone! Just not negative CR because he will immediately be put off by people who trigger his paranoia and his aloof side.
I just realized i never added what i was going to do for the event. I will not have him be branded, as he already suffered enough as a youngster but he will do some selfless shit to save his CR.
