STATE OF MODS
With the start of the new year, helper mod Jade has decided to step down. We appreciate her time, hard work, and the laughs and energy she brought to the mod team. Thank you Jade, we love you!!

As of right now, we are not seeking a replacement. We're ready to dive back into things now that the holidays are done, and we're going to be doubling down on organization, as well as hammering out our vision for the game in the new year. If we end up feeling like we need another helper mod, you all will be the first to know!

Thank you for your patience during the holidays – we, like so many others, were extremely busy during those weeks in December. We look forward to getting back in motion with everything!

REWARDS REWORDING
Because of a player question on the FAQ and the fact we’d gotten it before, we’ve decided to tweak the wording on what can and can’t be used for rewards. This is the updated version:

Backdated threads do count and must be used within the year they start to be redeemed. For example: a player has a thread from March 2024 they'd like to redeem. They would be able to use that thread for a reward until March of 2025.

Essentially, reward threads are good for a full 365 days. Use 'em while you got ‘em!

APPLICATION UPDATE / PLAYER CAP
With this app cycle, we are now at cap in terms of players again. Since AC for December was check-in only, we've decided to be a little flexible with the cap and allow a couple extra players. An app cycle for new players will only happen in February if the player count is at or below 60. We will have an app round for current players however, if they’d like to add characters to their roster.

LORE ROUNDUP PAGE
We now have a lore roundup page for players to see OOC what's been going on! If you've gotten any lore drops, or found any lore by any other means, go ahead and fill out the list! Any players that have posted it on the Discord, please post it on here as well. Thank you!

THIS MONTH IN ALDRIP Snow. There’s so much snow out here, man. Characters may need to plow their way around Aldrip. Help out your neighbor and shovel! But be careful, there may be one or two coffins still lying around whoops–

We’re counting… sheep? They might be rare, and they might be fluffier than the gif (like a cross between a Moomin and a sheep), but they’re hanging around. Some of the locals are telling the Chosen that if they bring in a picture of them, they can get something for free / discount at their shop. Why are we counting sheep? No reason, right?

There’s post-holiday sales galore. Food that… actually, is that still edible? Are those spices old? Well, they’re on sale… but you might not want to actually buy them.

A LOVE NOTE / FEEDBACK? Happy New Year everybody!! We’re ushering in Expiation being two years old this year, which is pretty incredible. We really couldn’t have done it without you guys.
