PLOT WITH ME: MARCH 2025
INTRO MEME
Welcome to Expiation and come on down! We're thrilled to have you here! This intro entry serves additionally as a CR meme, so you are free to use it to say hello, tell us a bit about yourself, talk about your character, and potential plans for the game.

MARCH EVENT SUMMARY
There once was a man named Ragna
Who backed the AI up in his arm-a
He stuck it in a crack
And then heard a thwack!
And then that whole arm was a-gone-a
A SURGE OF MIASMA
This is why we can't have nice things. Ragna, who is now banned from the month of March as a whole, had apparently been containing some big bad negative energy within his arm. He then stuck said arm into a crack in the simulation. This was fine, the first time, but seeing as how he then did it again...well, the arm is now considered lost. Unfortunately, the energy that was contained within his arm is no longer contained, and is leaking all over Aldrip. This energy summons forth a huge monster from Ragna's world: the Black Beast, a huge, many-headed serpent. This creature's many heads pop up all around the outskirts of Aldrip, making it impossible to leave. Strangely, though, they don't seem to come within the bounds of the city.
CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR
On the first day of its appearance, the Black Beast cannot be fought. Fauna didn't get this memo, unfortunately, so she goes to do what she does best: fight things. This ends in a terrible defeat. This might not be notable, except that Fauna is carrying a supply of "wish seeds" from her home world, and these seeds become infused with the Black Beast's negative energy. These seeds scatter across the city of Aldrip.
So...what do the seeds do? They turn people into monsters, and anyone in town can be affected by them. These monster transformations can be whatever players want, and can come with temporary powers as well, with the caveat that the theme of the transformation has something to do with a "wish" that the character has. (As an example, perhaps a character who wishes to stay with their friends has the power to absorb energy from people who get close to them. )
In a bid to apologize for every March he's perpetrated, Ragna elects to fuse with the Black Beast, thus negating its invulnerability and making it killable. And it must be killed to stop the negative energy from affecting Aldrip. These heads can be killed by any physical or magical means
If the Black Beast is defeated, it'll stop more Chosen from transforming into monsters. However, Chosen who have already transformed will not change back if the Black Beast is defeated. How do they do so, then? By reconciling the "wish" that was part of their transformation in some way -- either major or minor. (To follow the same example above, a character might accept that they must let go of people who leave, thus triggering their de-transformation.)

Here to ask how much Dazai's abilities can affect this event! Namely:
- Can he stop some black lines from encroaching, thus creating areas where plants can still thrive?
- Can he negate the effects of wish seeds, such that they can't affect people unless it's too late? (he can't reach all of them though, of course)
- Can his powers interact with the monster transformations, not necessarily dispelling them outright but canceling them out while he's touching them?
- Can the same do to the Black Beast, essentially debuffing it while he's in contact?

though she's immune to being taken over by it, Ellie is infected with the cordyceps brain infection. with the monster transformation, i was thinking it'd be interesting if it interacted with that infection and turned her into an infected through a similar process that CBI normally would have. still happening but a little slower as it takes over.
the wish part is also complicated bc lmao what is outsurviving people who care about and wanting to just be used a cure to make it worth it....
would that be okay?

A few muns and I would like to plot out a thread that involves two people turning into a monster together so I have questions to clarify things.
1) Can one's wish allow another (or two) transform into a monster? I.E, person A wishes for two people (person B and C) to work together and get along but it turns them (B and C) into a fused monster. The transformation is supposed to be like a corrupted version of their alternate selves's canon combined ability.
2) If the first is allowed, can the said two people (person B and C) briefly exchange memories during the time they are fused? This is for plot development reasons.
3) As for the reconciliation of the "wish", I understand that will be on person A as the one who made the wish. Will it be acceptable that person A must acknowledge he cannot force person B and C to work/get along together, that it must be done naturally for the transformation to dispel? Oh and person A will lose the absolute trust person B has in him.

Canon Point: Two weeks after joining Flora as a hero
Crime: Attempted Destruction of Human Society
Background: Supervillain turned superhero. Spends most her time talking shit and getting hit.
Abilities: Transforming superhero a la Kamen Rider!
Plans: SO. Fauna is, as the plot indicates, about to get her ass kicked. This means she's likely going to need help, and probably going to need to start talking to people about heroics properly. I'm hoping for someone who is willing to find Fauna after she's gotten beaten up and help her get back up! Save her from the Beast and maybe stop her from trying the runback and making things worse.
After that, hopefully she's going to chill out. Help her calm down and realize she has more to offer Aldrip than just fighting!
How can you run into my character? Well, probably in a medical facility after she gets beaten down. She's going to be remarkably easy to find this month since she's going to need time to recover.

Crime: Ignoring his own humanity.
Background: Complicated is an understatement when it comes to this guy's history. Ex-mafioso turned private detective except his moral code remains the same dark grey as ever, and as of current canon literally just broke out of prison. Things happen!
He's also a muse that doesn't tackle the most pleasant of topics, being a self-proclaimed suicide enthusiast and all. Feel free to poke at my opt-out if his themes make you uncomfortable and avoid interacting with him at all.
Abilities: Immunity to pretty much every special ability, as well as the ability to temporarily nullify those skills by touching the user.
Plans: He's here to play support for the event this month! Need a break from your monster human shenanigans? No Longer Human has you. He might also help out to strategize a way to defeat the guy considering it's a boss type monster that needs a coordinated attack to neutralize.
Other than that he's gonna be involved with Jinx's stuff this month and maybe help her calm down. Or make things worse. Who knows with this guy.
How can you run into my character? Guy bums around Bar Lupin most of the time, or just wanders about while he's bored. You will see him often in bars and clubs gathering information, or maybe even fish him out of the river for whatever reason.

Crime: Getting involved with Organized crime
Background: Tsuna was once your typical loner/loser/average middle schooler until a 2-year-old hitman showed up on his doorstep and said that he was the heir to a mafia family and kicked off the series. Tsuna is still not sure he wanted to ever be a mafia boss much less be involved with the mafia in general, but he did get some friends out of the deal so, it worked out. (And this is a semi-regular reminder that KHR started as a gag manga before it turned into a battle manga).
Tsuna, at first, seems like a bit of a pushover and maybe a little hard done by. But one does have to remember he's usually trying to herd cats and reacting to the bonkers situation that is the mafia. There's a spine there though, and when pushed in the right direction, he can get serious. But he'd really just like a normal life where he can goof off with his friends.
Abilities: Tsuna's main ability is his Dying Will Flames, which are the orange flames that come out when he fights or activates the Hyper Dying Will mode. His flames, specifically, are Sky Flames, which have the power of Harmonization, which allow him to use both Hard and Soft Flames (hard flames are like bursts of power, soft allowing him to do things like fly/hover). He can also petrify or accelerate things.
He also has hyper-intution, that allows him to usually pick up on if people are lying to him or if they are threats. I try not to overplay this.
Plans:
-I admit that I am not a big fan of monster transformation, but Tsuna is here to fight some monsters! Whether they are generic, or your character, Tsuna is here to help!
-With the Sky Flames, I figure that Tsuna can help create barriers or spaces for people who are trying to figure their shit out when in monster form, so if anyone wants help with that.
-He'll probably want to help fight one of the serpent heads, but also be kind of conflicted about it. He'd like to avoid killing if he could.
-He's probably also going to be exhausted after all of this as well. That's a lot of flames.
-I would like to address the complicated relationship he has with his dad one of these days.
-Thinking I might just have an open log with some general prompts as well, since there might not be a space for more relaxed conversations during the event.
How can you run into my character? Tsuna can usually be found at his home, the TWAT clubhouse/club building, or the arcade. But he has a couple of odd jobs now as well including the apothecary and delivering mail. He's around.
???: I absolutely biffed February super hard and don't really have an excuse beyond FFVII Rebirth ate my brain. I'll be working on playing catch up and hopefully getting to some of the stuff I failed to get to.

Background: Antisocial gunlady with personality problems and lots of unreality trauma. Former doctor, former Marine, former government assassin, former freelance crimefighter, current ?????. She'll get back to you on that last one.
Abilities: The ability to patch up her gunshot wounds with duct tape and keep going.
Plans: I usually don't go hard for transformation stuff, but I'm very intrigued by the way it's being spun here, and I am absolutely going to be mulling over how Shaw's simulation-related PTSD/struggles with reality (something I always love exploring!!!) might dovetail here.
How can you run into my character? When she gets bored she goes and fights crime down at the docks; I'm happy to have her either mix it up with fellow crimefighters, or clash with criminals! She generally only bothers with violent crime/crime with a victim who's immediately visible (i.e. she doesn't care that much about anyone dealing pot, and she isn't putting in the individual research necessary to track long-term cons). She's also far from squeaky clean herself, and canonically spent several months as the getaway driver for a team of bank-robbers purely for kicks - so depending on the circumstances, helping commit crimes isn't totally off the table. Shaw's moral compass is very steady, but it sometimes points in weird directions.

Crime: Despair
Background: A mad scientist who got recruited into a cult and became an immortal sorcerer with no physical form. Now he lives in the body of a dead samurai and is coping with the fact that he is the reincarnation of another, slightly less mad, scientist who wrote a really bad tweet that destroyed the world.
Nihilistic, sadistic and extremely flamboyant. He tends to present himself as a clown but beneath the playfulness he is in a lot of despair. His main agenda is to die and take everyone else with him. It's what his Emperor would have wanted, anyway.
TL;DR VERSION: Flamboyant energy being. Acts like a clown but is actually very depressed. Mad sadist who delights in torment. Hates you, hates himself, hates the world. Really wants to die. Also part-time comic relief despite all this.

Also, he has no shadow. Weird, right? Probably nothing to worry about.
It's worth noting he rarely uses his more combat-focused abilities. He doesn't like fighting unless he's very sure he can win.
His greatest "ability" is his intelligence. He's an obnoxious turbo-genius.
Plans: After the reset Fandaniel will be doing more experiments to see what has changed. Many of these experiments will be just awful. Other than this, he'll be exploring the town. Have a science nerd? He could be a nerd with them.
CR I CAN OFFER!
Fandaniel enjoys finding sponsors for his projects. He will act servile toward these people and do things for them in exchange for funding and resources. He thinks of these people as his patrons.
Fandaniel is also a very complex person. He will usually present himself as a flamboyant, whimsical eccentric. Past that one can get the sense of his cold cruelty. Past that is his despair which can honestly be depressing to be around. And there is more. But expect that "getting to know" him will take multiple interactions.
FOR THE EVENT: Probably will not turn into a monster because he basically already is one. WILL develop a power! His wish is to die and take everyone with him so his power will probably be something along the lines of "self immolation". Combusting into flames and burning everything and everyone nearby. Does that sound like a good time to you? Hit me up!
He is a powerful sorcerer and could help fight the boss monster too. But he won't. He might play support and help strategize, though.
How can you run into my character? He has his own laboratory, the Aetherochemical Research Facility, on the outskirts of town. It's a big structure and has plenty of resources. People are welcome to visit and/or do their own research there. When he's not there he's wandering around town and people watching.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Fandaniel is usually a playful, whimsical eccentric and as much comedy relief as villain but this character can get very intense. Themes around him include suicide, despair, existential horror and hopelessness, nihilism and extreme self-loathing. You can read more about this on his OPT OUT. Please do not hesitate to opt out of interactions if you want to. I understand some of this character's themes are more heavy than people might want to deal with in RP.

Big fan of Drakenier, Final Fantasies, podcasts of all stripes (for fiction: Wrong Station. nonfiction I've been enjoying Behind the Bastards and Sixteenth Minute), resource management games on Steam, and cooking new recipes! PST time zone, I try to get through my game inbox at least 1x a day, and I'm sooo jazzed about the event!
Character: A2
Canon: Nier Automata
Canon Point: Post C/Ending E
Crime: Infanticide, for killing the Forest King Emmanuel.
Background: A2 is a combat android belonging to an elite squadron of combat androids known as YoRHa, created to fight in a (unbeknownst to them) endless war against a machine scourge created by aliens who wanted to conquer Earth. Unfortunately she was also a prototype for newer and more efficient versions of herself, which sucks for her. After completing her first and only mission, where she was the only survivor, she is marked for death as a deserter and has spent her whole life killing her pursuers and the machines. She's plagued with feelings of regret and worthlessness due to survivor's guilt and the overall pointlessness of her existence, and her one-woman war against the machines is essentially a long term suicide mission.
That's Nier babe!
Personality-wise, A2 is prickly and verges into combative and disagreeable if something rubs her the wrong way. Once she warms up a little, she's socially awkward with flashes of defeated grief as people get to know her better. Has an honor system, despite being branded a traitor - kind of a broken-down knight in many ways.
Abilities: Despite looking like a dainty Victorian ghost, A2 is very good at murder.
- Extreme strength, speed, endurance: A2 is a tank. She has killed countless numbers of machines, taken on whole swarms and Goliath-class machines by herself, and killed pursuers who were specifically designed to be better versions of her. She is extremely strong, fast, and despite her external damage, is very resilient. She contains nanomachines in her body that repair internal damage and can power through most injuries as long as they aren't to her black box or head. She can bleed out! But that requires her getting an injury severe enough and, well.
- Weapon mastery: A2 is an acrobatic and elegant combatant, and as an Attacker model, is designed for close-range battle. She is a master swordswoman, but is also able to utilize bracers, spears, daggers, and even her bare hands in a pinch in order to fight.
- B-mode: A2 is able to overheat her body for temporary periods of time in order to maximize her speed and strength, though requires recovery time in the aftermath.
- Pod: Pod 042 accompanies A2 just about everywhere. Pod possesses navigation and long-range firing capabilities.
Plans: I am curious about this monster transformation — lots of opportunity to explore A2's self-perception vs. her "wish," which I think even she is not fully aware of. And also fighting the big cool monster with her big cool powers!!
I'm still futzing over how or if she'll be transformed, but she will most certainly be assisting in bringing down the Black Beast when it becomes vulnerable to attacks. Would like to play around with her taking on enough damage to (finally) accept more substantial repair work?
We will see. In any event, with the addition of Pod, A2 herself is a tank and has insane battle capabilities. She will certainly be defending as many people as possible. That being said, her paranoia over this whole "I'm in a machine devised simulation" will be full blown as this month progresses so if any of the new monsters want to have A2 trying to wail on them before she realizes wtf is going on and marginally calms down, I'd be down to clown!
How can you run into my character? She spends the majority of her time in the forest, though she can more regularly be seen at the farm and library. A2 almost never sleeps, so expect to see her at odd/unusual times of the day or night.
Her hot chocolate routine is daily, though will begin to get disrupted as she gets more and more paranoid this month, haha 😣

Crime: Matricide - murdering Mystique, who he knows as his biological mom.
Background: He's a teenage mutant who looks like a fuzzy blue devil. That's caused him to face a lot of strife back home, so he wears an image inducer as a watch which can use a hologram to make him look like a normal human. He's become a bit dependent on it and insecure about openly showing off his real self (though he's softened on that almost completely in-game). Generally he's a friendly guy with a goofy sense of humor who can try too hard to fit in and overdo any slang he knows. He also has more baggage related to his family issues and complicated feelings about his biological mother.
Abilities: His most prominent one is teleportation. Two miles is his hard limit, but he also needs to know or see where he's going for safe teleportation. He can also cling to walls/ceilings and has a prehensile tail, along with generally boasting acrobatic abilities and general combat skills.
Plans: Kurt will not be turning into a monster since I feel like I explored that enough with last year's Gnosia event, but he will superhero up and be available for helping to take on others who have been turned to monsters! Not much else planned for this month, but generally open to building CR in and out of events!
How can you run into my character? He works as the fastest pizza boy in town! Some of his regular haunts include the Club Building, the arcade and the X-Mansion.

I plan to backdate the dream share threads from January if people are interested in continuing those.

Canon Point: 4.2's Archon Quest (post-Fontaine)
Crime: Inaction. Venti's tendency, as the anemo archon Barbatos, to appear as a lazy, absent god in the eyes of others. In truth, Venti cares very much but he believes in the people of his nation to be able to take care of themselves and to have the freedom to fight for what they believe in without his help. Despite that... Venti did sleep for five hundred years, leaving Mondstadt on its own.
Background: Venti is a 2600+ year old god of wind, music, love and freedom! He presides over the nation of Mondstadt (but he doesn’t really do much these days), loves to travel, sing and write poetry. He loves to drink wine and be drunk and party!! And likes to be an old coot that gives out advice to the babies. You can find his full application here.
Abilities:
🎐 Venti is the wind archon which gives him incredible power over the wind. He can practically move mountains with it. While he won’t use it to that extent unless he has to, he is a god.
🎐 He also has the power to direct dead souls.
🎐 Can heal negative energy and heal karmic debt with his music and songs.
🎐 He can drink you under the table.
Plans:
🎐Seeing as Venti is still new, his first plans are going to be just settling in! Making CR and finding out what Aether has been up to and about this world. From the TDM he learned some pretty interesting things, so he’ll continue to ask about people’s stories and what they’ve been through here. He wants all the good and bad stories for his own information.
🎐His time with his free room is up, so Venti will now begin sleeping outside or sleeping on whoever’s couch or bed that he can sneak into. Maybe Venti will appear sleeping under your table?
🎐I am considering transforming Venti into a monster for the event. I am considering a corrupted demon or biblically accurate version of Venti that’s been drawn many times by the fandom. Here’s an image.
How can you run into my character? It is still up in the air about this but Venti can more than likely be found where there is alcohol, so bars or taverns. He will also busk and sing out in public. Venti also has a tendency to sleep like he’s homeless, so he’ll more than likely sleep outside in trees or steal into people’s homes to sleep. He also explores a lot so he can take his own notes.

Lycoris | Ragna the Bloodedge

Anything Else?: I'm a nerd with too many hobbies and not enough time; the main ones, aside from rp, are video games, kyudo and crocheting!
Character: Ragna the Bloodedge
Canon: BlazBlue
Canon Point: At the end of BlazBlue: Centralfiction.
Crime: Destroying the world. Y'know, normal stuff.
Background/Personality: The world's most wanted criminal with the highest bounty in history on his head ─ a feat he's achieved by going around the world attacking and destroying various government facilities and killing hundreds of soldiers, earning himself the nickname "Grim Reaper". Generally speaking, he's kind of an asshole: he's rude, grouchy and cynical with hair-trigger temper that often leads to a rather liberal use of violence. Thing is, despite his deadly reputation and outward grumpiness, deep inside he's actually a genuinely kind and caring guy who'd do anything to protect his loved ones and always puts their happiness and well-being before his own (sometimes to a fault). He just has tons of emotional baggage that makes it really hard for him to actually open up.
tl;dr: he's a big dumb edgy tsundere with trust issues, do with that what you will.
Abilities: You can find the full summary here, but here's a short and sweet version:
- skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as sword fighting
- has access to a wide range of spells called Ars Magus, which technically aren't magic, but would probably appear as such to someone unfamiliar with the concept
- has ridiculous regenerating abilities that allow him to survive and more or less shake off most injuries that would otherwise be fatal (they still hurt tho)
- his personal special ability (aka Drive), Soul Eater, does exactly what it says on the tin: it allows him to absorb souls/life force of living things around him. He's got it mostly under control, but touching him or even staying around him for extended periods of time puts one at risk of him involuntarily sucking the other person's life out of them. Also, using it drastically decreases his own lifespan. Oops.
- should he ever lose control over his abilities, he's in danger of turning into a giant, world-destroying monster

So yeah, March has now officially become the annual "Ragna Wrecks the World" month! Believe me, he's not happy about it either. But tough luck, he's getting his right arm back as his birthday present and he's gonna make it everyone's problem.
Once the Black Beast shows up, he'll make a network post with actual helpful information and hints about fighting it, but then he'll be out of commission for a while due to fusing with the beast and... well, getting killed. Don't say he never does anything for y'all.
He'll be coming back from the dead towards the end of the month, so if you want to bonk him on the head for causing the apocalypse then, feel free to!

Background: He's depressed, a mess, and doing his best?? (Sort of). Shigeru comes from a world that had people known as phrobiests who had powers related to phobias thanks to being cursed by a dark god. Fast forward through a lot of shit happening and Shigeru is now the god of his world thanks to reuniting the two gods Alai and Malai together again making himself the god of twilight. He recently emerged from his stasis after merging all 3 of their souls together so his powers are a little wonky and he's also just depressed.
Abilities: Shigeru has a few abilities that will be useful I guess for the event specifically. He can heal pretty much anything since his powers allow him to manipulate subatomic particles. He can regrow limbs, fix broken bones, cure diseases/illnesses, etc. He can also apply his powers to inorganic stuff so he can fix broken buildings or even broken parts to stuff. He also transforms into eldritch terrors! So that will be a thing that will happen this event, hehe.
Plans:
Healing: If your character needs assistance with injuries, Shigeru will help out with that! Like I said, he can heal pretty much anything and will help with these efforts! He may or may not be doing this in his human form and his eldritch forms!
Monster fighting: Since Shigeru is an eldritch being, he has a lot of different forms he can take. I plan to have him at least help protect people from other people's monster forms if anyone wants to do something with that! But also Shigeru's eldritch form imbues madness on people so that might be counterintuitive to him helping out, sorry??? I'm also cool with him losing control of himself and potentially attacking people.
I also would love for people to encounter him injured in his monster form or reverting back to his human form, so a mixture of the two since that could be good for CR building!
How can you run into my character? Mostly he's just running around and working at the clinic. You can probably find him drawing lots of landscapes/sceneries since that helps with his overall disposition.

Abilities: Personas!! He has 12 of them and they range from huge + somewhat concerning-looking to a tiny pixie. I think he has the Worst set of Personas out of all the Wildcards at Expi LMFAO it's ok. It's his brand now.
Plans: I don't think Minato will be running into any issues with wishing seeds, but if you have any current CR with him and wanted to fistfight with Minato for the inevitable fallout lmk!! How can you run into my character? It wouldn't be too unusual for Minato to be anywhere, given his penchant for wandering about. You might catch him taking Koromaru on walkies as well. Otherwise, he lives at the inn so their paths could have crossed there! He has 500 part-time jobs too, but he's mainly with the Arztenritter i.e. Ethlyn's healer brigade and available for patching people up via magic! Sometimes he's out running fetch quests for Claude (it's his form of enrichment, ok), or helping out at the apothecary. Or he can run fetch quests for YOU!! In general though, he takes on various odd jobs and errands. If you're part of Scott Summers' TWAT Club you might know him through there too! He hangs out around the farmhouse as well and started a little garden there. In short... yeah he's everywhere.

Fast forward to the present, where he's deliberately manipulated a child into fighting for him in a similar way...
Background: Mid-thirties CEO of an international company whose previous stint as a magical boy went so poorly he pivoted to plans to destroy the world. Very good at pretending he's a pleasant type on the outside. He recently took an orphaned magical boy under his wing to use him against his friends (don't worry about how he was orphaned), which ended up having unpleasant consequences like feelings. Uh oh!

Abilities: -automatically blocks any supernatural sensing powers: anything outside of the typical human baseline will react like he's not there. Any technology that tries to record him while he's using magic will also fail.
-magically charming aura that tends to make people like him more. This will work on local NPCs but obviously it's player choice for other Chosen. If you want to play with that, it's there!
Other things that aren't usually relevant except in extreme emergencies or secret, because he is just a normal businessman, really!!: healing magic, superhuman strength/reflexes/speed, temporary portals, hypnosis, breaking/warping, and crystal monster creation.
Plans: SO. Let's go chronologically. Last month he was trying to regain his bearings from having people inside some of his most traumatic memories, and mostly failed, so he went out into the wilderness to obliterate some monsters for catharsis, making some minor crystal monsters of his own to help with that. It went great, thanks for asking.
Tentatively he's going to end up helping get Fauna back into town via those crystal friends and learning about wtf happened, so he'd be interested in trying to get people information about what's going on, where might be safe, whatever else he might learn about the non-final boss monsters and how to stop them. And also potentially drag people to the Clinic/wherever healing available and insist they stay until they've recovered! Those crystal monsters will also mysteriously be hanging around to block some Chosen from attacking each other, weird, where'd these guys come from? Surely that's not connected to anybody in particular, and they'll all go back into the woods after this is all done with, ahem—
Then maybe just as he thinks he's off the hook, he will be turning into a monster himself! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ His wish will be nonexistence, and he will take the form of a wispy/static-y shadow kind of monster with powers themed on erasing stuff. He will be deliberately looking for people to absorb their feelings about themselves through touch, whether that's positive or negative, until they feel nothing. Hug time. Potentially he could start to erase other things if he hangs on long enough, if anybody would like that. Anyway please help him and tell him he should exist, this will compound his misery further. Or shine a bright light on him until he disappears! We'll have fun either way.
How can you run into my character? Outside of event shenanigans... Although he's set up a mail system so he can send NPCs a dang letter without having to find couriers, he still goes everywhere to chat up people for business, so he can be found pretty much wherever out on the street. He spends a fair amount of time at his two businesses, but he also spends mornings watching the courthouse, and the occasional evening at Lupin or the Inn's tavern! Occasionally he'll hit up the library, and sometimes he'll just poof from town mysteriously for a few hours... don't worry about it. He has his own tiny house but he basically only goes there to eat and
collapsesleep.He is always looking for people to work at his two businesses: a medical research company and the post office! He can figure out a place for anybody; part time, full time, contracting, collaborations, whatever. He's also involved with Richard's defense squad in an organizational role, and he'll encourage people to join if they seem remotely interested in helping their fellow Chosen.
Also if he's shown concern for or interest in a character before, he absolutely checks in with them now and again! He does not need a reason to do this, he'll just do it apropos of nothing.

The year is 2035 and the surface of the Earth was sent into a nuclear winter marking the end of WWIII. All survivors fled into the metro system where a new society rife with civil war and corruption has been formed. He's a former Spetsnaz GRU colonel and, as such, is only now trying to get over a decades long obsession with occupying enemy forces.
Personality-wise, he's intolerant, temperamental, and paranoid! But he's also heavily invested in maintaining order and protecting his "people" and, after
almosta year in Expi, his fellow Chosen are starting to become his people, too. 🫡Abilities: Normal human with tons of military and survival experience!
Plans: Event-wise, I'm going to try to put him into more of a reactive role this time, since I've already been through the whole gambit of going full murder hobo. That being said, he is quite bad at minding his business and when there is city-wide danger, tends to just spout off about what he thinks everyone should do (read: boss around anyone who will listen) because he's really dedicated to trying to keep people safe. So, there will likely be some of that, and also I'm here for fighting teamups, fighting with other transformed PCs to try to snap them back to reality, helping anyone who finds themselves in trouble, and whatever else comes of this.
More generally, he's involved in the defense squad plan of Richard's and will be participating in that as basically second in command, thus available to rope other characters in and/or give some combat lessons (hand to hand, guns, navigating and surviving in uninhabitable radiation...you know normal stuff). He is also perpetually interested in passing back and forth theories and ideas with any characters who are invested in a) figuring out WTF is going on, and b) eventually busting out of here.
How can you run into my character? He works half at the casino and half at Silco's strip club, as security in both locations. A lot of time is also spent keeping tabs on the goings on outside of town. He keeps a close eye on monster activity because it's, like, the only variable in this place he feels he can attempt to control. Shh. No one tell him.

She is the mom friend, whether you want her to be or not. She's trained in healing and swordfighting, has two young children left at home (she got a chance to see that they survived, but in exchange are old before their time) and also, she died before getting here.
She's also been in Expi from the start which means that she has been through a LOT, which on the one hand means it's not easy to throw her and she gets a bit of a +1 for composure in a crisis but on the other hand, BOY SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH A LOT. She has learned to be a little better about seeking help when she needs it at least!

Plans: She won't be getting monsterified, but she will definitely be taking undue risks in trying to save people from monsters and/or from themselves. I would kind of like her to get hurt doing that tbh because it's been a little while and I need to remind people that she's only "the sensible one" in comparison to certain other people. ;)
Ethlyn is also happy to help out newer or just confused people, and she's been here since day 1 so she's happy to answer any questions--albeit her information is largely of the practical kind about past events and monsters rather than the philosophical implications about being in a simulation. (She's pretty sure that they all just got teleported in physically, mostly because you all still bleed heavily.)

She loves talking to people and is very outgoing, usually hiding any of her own pain or sadness behind a bright smile. Persona 3 is memento mori: the game, so expect themes of death and loss.
Abilities: (cw: suicidal imagery) Kotone can summon a plethora of angels and other assorted gods/demons from mythology using a gun-shaped summoning tool. This means she can heal, do damage, and do a few other cool things to stun or stop an enemy! Although she does summon her Personas by shooting herself in the head, so. You know.
Her main weapon is also a naginata! So she can use that and other stick-like weapons.
Plans:
Rubs my little hands together for this event... I definitely want to have Kotone affected by a wish seed! Right now I'm thinking her "wish" is her intense desire to protect everyone, and her monster form will look like either Orpheus or Thanatos, but I'm still thinking about what form exactly her "power" will take. (Lock people into coffins to keep them safe? Misinterpret attempts to help her as attacks so she has to defend herself? Plans: Right now Viktor is attempting to keep a low profile where "guy who was employed as a World-Saver and Unfathomably-Powerful-Entity Removal Service for the last 2 - 4 years" is concerned (which is frankly going against his nature, but bro is still waiting on that promised vacation). He is marketing himself as a simple tailor and questionable sawbones with a bit of a knack for healing magic; eager to help at no cost. That he occasionally slips up and reveals that he might be more than that is largely due to the fact that my mans is a terrible liar lmao.As far as the monthly event is concerned, I don't think he will go monster because Viktor is incapable of wanting/wishing for anything for himself at the moment and that complicates resolution of the plot. He will be on hand for healing and should he be in a situation where he sees someone else endangered, he will indescriminately throw himself in the way at risk of great personal harm to protect them. He is seasoned enough to know not to futz with the Mysterious Miasma Radiating Lines unless someone asks him to real nicely.
SO:
- If anyone has a burning desire to be in a situation where they witness Goofy Vagrant Tailor do some Be Not Afraid-maxxing to save a life, I'm open to that as a potential thing! Whether you are being Protected or just Witnessing.

Background: The biracial prince of two historically warring nations, Claude fled to his mother's homeland and stumbles right into another war and a nation he's now expected to lead. He's a charismatic schemer with a tendency towards duplicity and manipulation (his identity remains a firm secret) but at their heart, his goals are deeply noble and he's more hungry for human connection than he realizes.
Abilities: Archery, wyvern-riding, politicking and organization! He also has minor magical abilities (healing + wind), and now possesses a lot of capital.
Plans: I'm down to do anything in general outside of the event -- would love to strengthen old cr and forge new bonds! For the event itself, I'm happy to have Claude as a foil for a character undergoing transformations if you need to get to the bottom of their wish, and he'll also want to assist in a martial capacity in fighting the Black Beast (sorry Ragna!). This entire thing will remind him of some traumatic shit from his canon (people being forcibly turned into horrible monsters), and he'll definitely be upset and on edge for the duration. As for his own effects, I'm toying with the idea of giving him mind-reading powers with only minimal transformations, so if that could be fun to play with too!

Background: Hiei was born a fire demon to a very insular group of ice maidens on a sky island - conceived by ‘impure means’ and was (literally) bound and thrown from the island. He was found by a group of bandits who never told him murdering all the time wasn’t exactly how you made friends and they eventually abandoned him too. Fast forward a couple years and a painful third eye install later and he meets Kurama by accident in the human world and the rest is history. He and Kurama steal from spirit world, get tracked down by Yusuke Urameshi and they all become a little rag-tag family even if Hiei will never ever call them friends or family since, well… /gestures at past families.
Abilities: As a fire demon Hiei has control over human and spiritual flame, though here in Expi he is restricted from his Dragon of the Darkness Flame. Demonic strength and speed are also a given, and he is a master swordsman to boot. He also has a Jagan eye - also known as ‘evil eye’ that has telepathic abilities as well as remote viewing.
Plans: For this month Hiei will be playing support (killing any heads he comes across) and playing guard dog for Yukina as well as Kurama since his powers are on the fritz. I suspect he’ll be pretty thorny about it all depending on how things go / how deeply effected they all are or aren’t.
Other than that I’m open and willing to do anything this month!
How can you run into my character? Hiei’s daily life at the moment largely consists of following Kurama around to his many jobs and doing any little tasks or errands his partner may be helped by. He doesn’t have a technical ‘job’ other than that, and can often be found napping in trees or generally bopping around on high surfaces / the tallest things he can so he can pretend to be tall. The cast does have a house out in the woods that he lives in built around his favorite tree so he can be found there pretty easily too.

I did take a hiatus this month and may be tagging slower than usual, but wanted to get this up for anyone interested.

Skipping the Additional Info and overall plans since we've all been here for months by now but here's a link to my last PWM, just in case.
Plans: FOR MARCH:
The month starts with Kurama working at the farm and clinic until overwhelmed by his own transformation. At which point he'll be hiding in the woods/deeper in the forest to avoid hurting others. His appearances at the apothecary this month will be spotty, he'll also be notably on edge to start the month, both of which people are more than welcome to notice.
The withering plant life around the city limits is going to be a huge stress for him, and ultimately he's going to end up transforming from one of the wish seeds. What form this transformation takes will depend largely on when and where he's found since he's a shape-shifter and will try to minimize effects with his own abilities with mixed and inconsistent results.
Instead of giving him new powers the wish will warp the ones he already has so he'll be starting the month in his human form and ultimately take on a more smoke screen illusion style fox form over time.
Body horror levels will vary from literally nothing visible to full on Hanahaki style plants growing out of his body/coughing up flowers in his human body. No visible body horror in his fox form, but let me know if there's any preference for either form or body horror level!

- the house is getting a new floor, unfortunately the mingle post has been put off until Kurama gets control of himself again (planned next month). It has not been forgotten, it is just not ICly feasible this month.
How can you run into my character?
Early in the month, Kurama will be at the farm, he'll be at the apothecary/greenhouse sparingly and assisting mostly at the clinic! Once his transformation really starts to overwhelm him, he'll be in the woods or possibly back home for the rest of the month, depending on how bad it is at the time. Kurama's wish is tied to protecting people he cares about and a communal survival effort among the Chosen so that will be reflected in his powers and response to others.
Hiei will also be spending a lot of time trying to subdue him with the jagan, so potential for three-way threads there too, if anyone is interested in that.
I think I covered everything that was already in my plotting plurk, but I'm going to link that here too, if only for my own reference.
