INTRO MEME

Welcome to Expiation and come on down! We're thrilled to have you here! This intro entry serves additionally as a CR meme, so you are free to use it to say hello, tell us a bit about yourself, talk about your character, and potential plans for the game.

YOU’RE A SNAKE I CAN SEE IT IN YOUR FACE

All may seem quiet for a little while… but closer to the 12th, characters may notice snakes trying to get their attention in their day-to-day lives.

Break the sssystem.

Break the sssystem. The Garden awaitsss.

What do these snakes want? Why, they want characters to commit crimes – they can’t stop all of them, they say. If they overload the system with crimes, then surely it’ll break. Come to the Garden, they say. They’ll see everything and more. Steal, cheat, maim, kill. That’s just examples of the things they’ll tell the Chosen to do. But they must do these things to other Chosen– the locals don’t count. Once they commit these crimes, they get marked on the back of their hand. It’s a tattoo of a snake, of course.

Some snakes even give a target with a specific crime for them for an even bigger reward. This is an RNG portion of the event! There’s a TL DOWN HERE if you’d like to sign up! They may range from something silly to something serious, so please keep it in mind when signing up. These sign-ups will only last until the fifth, so we can RNG, give assignments, and give everyone a chance to plot.

THE GARDEN OF EDEN

Outside of Aldrip and deeper into the woods where very few go, there seems to be a very tall fence surrounding… something. Those that can fly can’t see inside. Those that can climb can’t climb over it. It’s almost as if something is obscuring it. Not an outright barrier, but there’s nothing to be made out if looking in from above. There’s just shapes. Those that try to force entry will get bitten by a snake and get very ill, and it’s up to the player on how ill they would get. There’s even a chance for character death here, as well, if they so desire. Chosen with their snake escorts with the tattoos on the back of their hands will find that the gates open for them easily, and they can step in. It smells cool and fresh when they get inside, and it really does look like paradise.

At least, for a moment.

Only a few minutes into characters being in the garden characters start to hallucinate bad endings. What’s the worst case scenario that could happen in their world? What’s their most feared outcome of what would happen here? Well, they’re seeing it. Visions of anything and everything that can go wrong will dominate their vision, as well as destruction of what appears to be other cycles. Will that happen to this cycle, at some point?

There is no good end for you, so long as the entity is “alive”.

THOSE NOT ENSNARED

The Chosen that don’t buy into the snake’s promises will be able to kill them in a traditional way. They’re just snakes, after all. Snakes can only tempt, but until the tattoo appears on the back of their hand, they still have the ability to “opt-out”. These Chosen may try to snap their fellows out of it, but once they get their tattoos, it’s really hard to convince them not to go into the Garden. In fact, in most cases, it’s downright impossible. Chosen attempted to be drawn away from the snakes may start screaming as if they’re in physical pain, or get combative. They really must get to the Garden, you see.

So this is the month that Fandaniel gets Caduceus for doing the thing. It is a very large snake.

....Can Caduceus be a snake that tries to tempt him into crimes or is it only the local native snakes?

So! I guess I should ask here about things Kurt might see through the glass. Would he get any special results using the glass to look at the snakes and the Garden fence? What if he tries looking at the courthouse through it?

Would non-tattooed characters be able to accompany tattooed characters through the gates or would there be some kind of barrier/force/etc keeping them out? Or would they just get bitten by snakes as the tattooed characters are escorted in or something?

Crime: failure to save her people from genocide.

Background:

once upon a time there a southern girl who lived kinda normally until she kissed a boy and he fell into a coma. her father disowned her and she ran away from home and stumbled upon another woman who took her in. little did she knew, that woman was evil and made her be a villain and used her powers to do villain-y things. eventually, she ran away from THAT family and came across another person who took her in. then she became a hero (X-MEN). there are other things but her history/background is too long, but that's the gist of it. it's x-men. i'm sure everyone has heard of it! if not, then bb, i'm sorry.

⨂ POWER DRAIN — Rogue's mutant ability often requires skin-to-skin contact to absorb memories, powers, personality traits, physical talents, and strength. For most of her heroic career, Rogue is unable to control her power, and anyone she touches will almost immediately fall unconscious.

⨂ FLIGHT — Besides Storm and Jean Grey, she is another mutant in the X-Men who has the ability of flight. It is said she is one of the most top ten fastest X-Men in the series as a whole, by having supersonic speed and top limit of around 700 miles per hour.

⨂ INHUMAN STRENGTH — Rogue often referred to be the "tank" of the X-Men team. She lifts cars, heavy objects, and punch through buildings without breaking a sweat.

GENERAL THINGS —

▶ rogue's been helping with cleaning up the city, so the locals will be nice regarding her, and will continue to lend anyone a hand if need be.

▶ she is also going to introduce her therapy business finally once i get my ass into gear about it. i'll make a network post (hopefully) about her showing it off and info people to come on down to let out their feelings/troubles and take up some healthy habits instead of being so destructive, you heathens.

▶ as much as she wants to get out and still feels breaking the simulation is something they all should do, she isn't going to commit crimes to do it. she's going to feel there's some sort of catch to that, or something horrible will go wrong if they do. rogue isn't going to fall into temptations like that.

▶ rogue is going to get bitten by a snake and fall ill! it's going to start slow at first, but as the days go by, she will gradually get worse and get weaker. she won't be able to fight, won't be able fly, have faint spells on and off, and have a lot of body aches, on and off fevers, chills, etc. she won't die but she'll probably wishes.

Crime: Attempted destruction of human society

Background: Fauna is an angry girl who has been let down by every single system or person who should have supported her. As a result of all of that, shit happened and she became a transforming supervillain, and now she's a transforming superhero. She is trying to be helpful, but has extremely little patience and isn't the brightest.

Abilities: She's a transforming superhero! She can turn into a variety of forms. The short version is she's got onmyoji, ninja, and samurai forms, and she does a lot of fighting! Also she just can turn into her base monster form, which just is strong and durable.

Plans: So, after the wish monster debacle (she's sorry, really), she's going to be trying to help. Rebuilding, moving stuff around, etc. But she's also decided that after getting her ass beat like she did, her current level of strength is no longer enough. So she's going to be looking for people who can teach her proper magic, instead of her current level of basically just winging it with innate powers.

How can you run into my character? Fauna works sometimes at Lupin as either a dishwasher or a bouncer, and she lives at the X-mansion! But also, with the construction and stuff, she's going to be putting her super strength to good use, helping clear the roads and stuff in her monster form.

Canon Point: After his ward takes a blow to protect him

Crime: Child sacrifice

Background: Mid-thirties CEO of an international company whose previous stint as a magical boy went so poorly he pivoted to plans to destroy the world. Very good at pretending he's a pleasant type on the outside. He recently took an orphaned magical boy under his wing to use him against his friends (don't worry about how he was orphaned), which ended up having unpleasant consequences like feelings. Uh oh! More info here!

Abilities:
⬬ automatically blocks any supernatural sensing powers: anything outside of the typical human baseline will react like he's not there. Any technology that tries to record him while he's using magic will fail.
⬬ magically charming aura that tends to make people like him more. This works on local NPCs but for Chosen: you decide!
⬬ crystal monster creation. Half a dozen of these toothy little guys are running around town watching out for people, but won't be seen in public with Zek. They stand at the average person's waist and have one brain cell each but they are trying very hard.
⬬ erasing of nonliving objects. He can just delete stuff by putting his hands on it.

Other things that aren't usually relevant except in extreme emergencies or secret, because he is just a normal businessman, really!!: healing magic, superhuman strength/reflexes/speed, temporary portals, hypnosis, breaking/warping.

Plans: He'll be on OKC discussing his sentencing and new info he's learned about the simulation in general! Also come work for him. He will not stop trying to employ people. Also why is he leaving a trail of flowers, that's not just him, right—

Depending on his sentencing results, he'll either be sad over his "reward" (the watch he bought his ward) or sad because more guilt was forced into his brain and presumably something else. Unless he gets hit with something crazy, it's not going to stop him from trying to break into the garden and getting bit the hell out of! He hasn't been sick since he was a teenager (healing magic op) so he'll need people to tell him to fucking go to bed before he collapses. He will ignore them and collapse. But not before leaving the snakes he encounters mysteriously dead! (His crystal monsters will also be chomping on snakes. It won't be pretty but they'll try to not leave snake bits lying around.)

He and his businesses could be prime targets for crimes. He's got money, tech, food/plants, and whatever's passing through the post office. Hit me up!

How can you run into my character? Altius can be found wherever in town, pretty much always doing something or going somewhere. His usual haunts:

⬬ Lupin/inn's tavern (occasional evenings)

⬬ not his (new!) tiny house. (sleeps there and that's about it)

Always, always looking for new employees and collaborators. He can figure out a place for anybody; part time, full time, contracting, collaborations, whatever. He wants to connect people!! He's also involved with Richard's defense squad in an organizational role, and he'll encourage people to join if they seem remotely interested in helping their fellow Chosen. Also if he's shown concern for or interest in a character before, he absolutely checks in with them now and again! He does not need a reason to do this, he'll just do it apropos of nothing.

Background: Local immortal tsundere does Unspeakable Things to bring back his destroyed world, loses spectacularly and gets forced to help out. He Is Tired, Let Him Sleep.

Abilities: Emet has kind of a lot going on! You can check out my app here for a more thorough breakdown, but here are some of the highlights:

• Soul Sight: Emet-Selch can see souls! Please check out the permissions for this over here!


• The Echo: This makes him a walking memshare. He won’t be using this without express permission and he’s kind of a stingy bitch so don’t expect it to come up any time soon.


• Creation Magic: He has the ability to create creatures and things. This is nerfed here, so anything he makes will not be permanent nor very large. Again, he’s a stingy bitch so he won’t be going around willy-nilly making things.


• Other Magic BS: Emet is a powerful mage with a lot of tricks up his sleeve. He can fly, teleport, and throw shadows and/or fire around.

Plans: I just got here so I don’t have a whole lot on the docket! I will probably throw Emet into the RNG pool for the event because that’ll be a great way to meet some people, right? He’s also on a mission for some clothes that aren’t his ancient robes. Other than that, I’m down for anything!

Also, I know that there was another Emet-Selch here previously. Fandaniel already let him know so he’s anticipating some level of recognition from others. (Even if he looks a lot different than the other one did.) idk how much of Emet’s old CR is still kicking around, but I’m def down to do something with that if someone wants.

How can you run into my character? Still settling in, so you can expect to find him just about anywhere as he tries to get the lay of the land.

Crime: Despair

Background: A mad elven scientist who gave up his mortal flesh to become an immortal sorcerer. Since he still needs a physical form, he's vibing in the corpse of a dead samurai these days.

Nihilistic, sadistic, and extremely flamboyant. He tends to present himself as a clown, but beneath the playfulness, he is in great despair. His main agenda is to die and take everyone else with him. He hates you, he hates the world, and he really hates himself.

Abilities: As an Ascian, Fandaniel can do the following:

Conjure shadow chains and bind people with them

Possess dead bodies (but he has to return to his current vessel after a time)
Haunt living bodies (cannot possess them, again has to return to his vessel)

Cast spells! The usual sorcerer stuff. He's particularly inclined to use shadow magic.

View the memories of others by observing the person while they are remembering something

Fly

Create objects with his own aether, which he usually uses to create clothes and disguises

Teleport

Also, he has no shadow. Weird, right? Probably nothing to worry about.

It's worth noting he rarely uses his more combat-focused abilities. He doesn't like fighting unless he's very sure he can win.

His greatest "ability" is his intelligence. He's an obnoxious turbo-genius

Plans: Fandaniel will most likely be tempted by the snakes. Tempting him to "break the system" is just not...very hard to do. He will also be out exploring more because he wants to know what the map updates from the data in Hyperetes actually were.

I would really like to pursue deep, meaningful CR this month! Fandaniel has been around a while, but most of his CR is basic. I love it all, but if you would like to start on the path of getting to know him a bit better, let me know! His visions in the Garden could be a good jumping-off point.

I don't tag out much on the log comm because I don't want to shove a character like this at people who might not be interested. I am always down for building up CR with anyone! Positive OR negative! Fandaniel wears a thousand masks at all times. It IS possible to get to know him better, but expect that it will take multiple interactions.

How can you run into my character? Fandaniel "lives" at the Aetherochemical Research Facility. He has the entire thing now, but I haven't had the time to update the page. Bear with me, folks, we'll get through this together. When he isn't there, he's out and about. He tends to be a busybody, so he's not hard to find.

NOTE Fandaniel is usually a playful, whimsical eccentric, and as much comedy relief as villain, but this character can get very intense. Themes around him include suicide, despair, existential horror and hopelessness, nihilism, and extreme self-loathing. You can read more about this on his OPT-OUT. Please do not hesitate to opt out of interactions if you want to. I understand some of this character's themes are heavier than people might want to deal with in RP.

Crime: Faithlessness

Background: Gadriel is an Ultramarine/Adeptus Astartes. Astartes begin the process of becoming the transhuman freakshows that they are at about age ten. It requires six or so surgeries and a bunch of brainwashing. His entire life (outside those 10 years of childhood, which...he doesn't remember because ~*brainwashing*~) has been spent on a spaceship between missions to kill aliens, orks and heretics. He's VERY sheltered--he has spent zero time in his life around women or children.

He's also about 9 feet tall and weighs, out of armor, 700 lbs. So if you need any heavy furniture moved, he's your guy.

Abilities: Big strong fast and hard to kill. Good with most weapons. No magic/sorcery, because that is heresy.

Plans:
He just got here so I'm open to settling in things: making allies, making, uh, not-allies, finding things to do/places to live. He's actually very sweet, just clueless.

He is freaked out by the snake people because they look like what Daemon Primarch Fulgrim looks like so he's sure this is some hellish Chaos space where everyone is at risk of corruption.

How can you run into my character?
Astartes don't need a lot of sleep, so he's generally up and awake, running patrols (against abovementioned presume Chaos incursions), or you can also catch him eating weird things (because you don't keep a body this big going off of snacks). He hasn't spent a lot of time NOT in combat so he will be very confused.

She may try in her kind of tsundere and gruff way, to help him adjust because she knows how it feels to be indoctrinated and brainwashed and suddenly be without your intended purpose. Crime: Aimlessness. The lack of a dream or goal for themself--one that isn't decided by someone else.

Background: An amnesiac from a Hypercapitalistic sci-fi dystopia (here's an opt-out post with content warnings for those who don't want to deal with some of the heavy themes/horror elements in the canon) with a little SCP flavoring. They'd tell you how they got their clock, but they forgot. Picked up in the middle of the woods and made department manager in Limbus Company.

Naturally awkward, tired, and filled with 10,000 self-esteem issues.

Abilities: Most of Dante's abilities are wrapped up in the piece of the Golden Bough in their head. With the way-too-vaguely-described power of "connection," they can see others' memories, enter a dungeon based on a character's mind, and (with OOC permission) sense various mind/heart-based powers and monsters.

The Golden Bough also grants them access to Durante abilities. Right now these include Pigritia, which slows time in a limited area around themself for everyone BUT themself (and the Sinners they're contracted to). And Superbia, which gives out a free limit break/powered up attack for the person they use it on (expanded to anyone here thanks to AC rewards).

Plans: Depends on how their sentencing plays out! But with the info I have now, I don't think Dante's going to be too willing to go out and do a crime. They're also willing to help break people out of the Garden and even talk them out of any bad-end related despair, given that they've seen into a fair few bad end universes of their own.

How can you run into my character? Still trying to nail down their new schedule! Frequents the library (and occasionally the casino), probably trying to find a new house/help with repairing other houses to have said new house. They've decided to commit to trying more new things while they're here, if anyone wants to forcibly drag them places.

Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler | X-Men Evolution

Character: Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler
Canon: X-Men Evolution
Canon Point: Post-"Cajun Spice"

Crime: Matricide - murdering Mystique, who he knows as his biological mom.

Background: He's a teenage mutant who looks like a fuzzy blue devil. He has a holographic image inducer that he used to be reliant on to disguise himself as a normal human due to the trouble he's faced back home, but he's stopped actively using it recently. Generally he's a friendly guy with a goofy sense of humor who can try too hard to fit in and overdo any slang he knows. He also carries some baggage and sad feelings related to some family issues, mostly involving his biological mother.

Abilities: His most prominent one is teleportation. Two miles is his hard limit, but he also needs to know or see where he's going for safe teleportation. He can also cling to walls/ceilings and has a prehensile tail, along with generally boasting acrobatic abilities and general combat skills.

Plans: Kurt managed to receive the magical glass McGuffin thing. So he'll be suspicious of the snakes and their whole deal, and he'll still be able to get into the garden on his own. Basically he'll try to dissuade others from Doing Crimes, and he'll also try to keep others from going to the Garden or save them from it. He'll still suffer from some of the hallucinations, just not as intently. He will also be open to suggestions about things to check with his glass. Basically, I guess he's in full superhero mode for this?

How can you run into my character? He works as the fastest pizza boy in town and also does deliveries for Altius. Some of his regular haunts include the Club Building, the arcade and the X-Mansion.

Background: An artificial copy of the God of Destruction, sent from another dimension to invade Earth and programmed to exterminate all humans. Created by an incomprehensible extradimensional lifeform that has declared itself the enemy of humanity.

But this and that happened, and instead she has founded a death metal band, and doubles as both the lyricist and vocalist. The only killing she will be doing is with kindness and the only harm will be limited to eardrums.

She is a good girl doing her best to be a baddie and will use her supreme power to act like a cartoon more than any other purpose.

Abilities:

• FLIGHT: SHE FLIES FAST. In her arriival at the beach, she thought she got there by getting drunk in Europe and flying over to the Carribean on a whim like a drunk person walking to Taco Bell.
• STRONGK: SHE STRONG. So if you need someone to move your couch or suplex an elephant, so is your girl.
• FAST: SHE ZOOMS. Any pink blur kicking up dust is probably her.
• GUNS: She is both an exceptional sharpshooter and a master of gunfu. She is severely less armed than normal at the moment, though.
• MUSIC: SHE IS GOOD AT WRITING AND SINGING MUSIC. Case in point. I, however, have no skill in writing songs so we'll see how that goes.

Plans: She is here for a good time and going with the flow. This is a good opportunity for her to have new experiences, because she is severely lacking in life experience, especially anything not soul crushingly depressing.

How can you run into my character? She just got here so I have to figure out how she'll be settling in. She is an extrovert to the extreme, so she will be all over the place doing all number of things and wanting to meet everyone.

Crime: Infanticide
Background: Once upon a time, a bunch of depressed nihilistic robots created a whole mythology about their human creators, and then began a war on Earth, one that never ended. A2 is created at the tail end of this endless, grueling cycle of neverending death and despair. She was once a bright-eyed and optimistic Captain of an elite strike squad which had a single mission that, unbeknownst to them, they were never meant to live through. Thanks to her friends, A2 lived bitch! And she's been absolutely crushed by survivor's guilt and despair ever since, the last of her line and the only one of her kind who knows that their mission to protect their beloved humanity is one big cosmic farce that's at the expense of them and their enemies both. By postcanon, A2 is the one who is able to break this cycle of pointless sacrifice by sacrificing herself. To what end? Well, that's up in the air. A future is not given to you, after all. It is something you must take for yourself.
Abilities: A2 is a little murder ballerina. I've gone through this song and dance before so I'll make it quick:
She's strong as hell. She doesn't look it at all, but she can easily tank through the most brutal combat and comes out of it still swinging. Her ability to power through damage is due to the high tech nanomachines that heal her body and just her own sheer tenacity. In addition, she is incredibly fast, elegant and graceful, a master swordswoman, and as a creation designed to kill, is both adept and creative in her methods of doing so.

A2 doesn't need to eat (though she is able to), can survive perhaps forever as long as she's in an environment with sunlight and water available, doesn't need to breathe, and rarely needs to sleep. She doesn't age. The black box in her chest is a mini nuclear fusion reactor, which she can use to self-destruct and cause a large scale explosion, which is what she did last month.

In addition, she has her Tactical Support Pod who is responsible for navigation, tossing her places she could otherwise not reach, and long-range ballistic support.

Plans: A2 has been through a lot this past few months, so I'd like this month to be a little less emotionally fraught for her. Some things of note:

She's going to begin to collect items for a new heat sink. Her frilly ballerina outfit is long gone and she's constantly overheating if she exerts herself, which is always because she's bad at taking care of herself

A2 feels intensely guilty about blowing up a ton of shit and will be helping with cleanup frequently.

Finally she will begin showing a passing interest in wearing clothing. My god

It's her rollout day May 20th! She doesn't give a fuck about this and wishes it had never happened. But Pod does, so A2birthday? Perhaps? 👀

She'll be helping Minato and Ryoji out with the festival, and also she's never experienced a festival so that's a whole thing.

As they have recently appeared, A2 will begin searching for Lunar Tears this month.

How can you run into my character? As a member of the Defense Squad, A2 patrols through Aldrip and the Forest on a regular basis. She does have a schedule but only she really knows it, so being jumpscared by her suddenly popping up somewhere in the middle of the night with her freaky glowing robot eyes is likely a common occurrence. She is a voracious reader so she enjoys the Library and has recently taken to running stupid little sidequests errands for the "natives" in order to curry favor and get more supplies for the Clinic, primarily. She can be seen at the Dojo and the Farm semi-regularly, and never sleeps so you can find her at odd hours. Sometimes she'll be seen walking with Minato's magic(?) dog, Koromaru, who she communicates with like he's people.

I've been around DWRP for a hot minute, but took a break for about a year. This is me returning to the SCENE. Excited to be here!

Crime: Vigilantism

Background:
Arlecchino is a Harbinger, one of the head executives of Genshin's antagonist faction, the Fatui. She runs an orphanage called the House of the Hearth, which doubles as a spy organization. She comes across as intimidating/menacing by default, but she's actually...... surprisingly harmless, as long as you aren't human scum or trying to harm her children, in which case she'll be happy to pop your head and dump you in the ocean. She is also cursed by blood; it gives her incredible power, but will consume her if she feels overwhelming emotions like anger or sorrow. As such, she is careful to suppress her emotions at all times. Much of what she displays is designed to manipulate others into furthering her goals.

Visually, she is unusual. Due to her curse and lineage, she has red crosses for pupils, black hands, and sharp, claw-like nails. She dresses with distinction, always in formal wear and wicked high heels.

Abilities:
- Fire (x3) - She is all about being able to use fire. "Normal" fire from her Vision, and a stranger bloodfire due to her lineage that she can manifest into objects like her weapon and spidersilk.
- Extreme strength - Stops attacks in her hands, punts people up multiple stories, that kind of thing.
- Expanded awareness/strong hearing?? - Thanks for the NO EXPLANATION, Genshin... Basically, she hears all kinds of things she shouldn't. I do have a permissions post for that, so please take a look at maybe fill it out! I'll leave a link at the bottom.

Plans:
- As a newcomer, Arlecchino will be very much focused on gathering information, both from afar and by chatting people up. She'll be at her most pleasant, looking to make connections.
- Eventually, she'll be interested in building up some sort of quiet power. Maybe it'll be an information network again, or maybe not! It might be fun to explore other natural avenues for her. Maybe she'll just adopt 20 children and terrorize the local PTA.
- Re: the event, OOCly I'm interested in Arle having to commit a crime against someone, even if ICly she'd be disinclined... HELL I'll figure out a way to make it happen

Background: Haruhi's a college student that used to be the vice president of the North High Literature Club, at a school she didn't actually attend. She's not quite as unhinged as the original Haruhi Suzumiya, not as activated and has no godly/autoevolutionary powers to speak of. That said, she still carries the same amount of wonder and curiosity that the OG did have! She's mellowed out slightly having gone through high school, giving up her crush and being able to have fun for three straight years, but she's still interested in what's going on here!

Abilities: None to speak of!

Plans: She's gotta learn more about what's going on around here! The supernatural, magic, aliens, time travelers, sliders, etc etc! Blow her mind! She can become an adventurer in some way, looking into rumors and legends since that sounds really up her alley and cool.

Crime: Betrayal of the Spartan Order ... but he, uh, served his time for that. Supposedly!

Background: Toxically overprotective dad and commander of a semi-secret militia in post-apocalyptic Moscow. The year is 2035 and the surface of the Earth was sent into a nuclear winter marking the end of WWIII. All survivors fled into the metro system where a new society rife with civil war and corruption has been formed. He's a former Spetsnaz GRU colonel and, as such, is only now trying to get over a decades long obsession with occupying enemy forces.

Personality-wise, he's intolerant, temperamental, and paranoid! But he's also heavily invested in maintaining order and protecting his "people" and, after almost a year in Expi, his fellow Chosen are starting to become his people, too. 🫡 Even if the originals' numbers are starting to sadly dwindle...

Abilities: Normal human with tons of military and survival experience!

Plans: Well! Claude was talking about doing a little something of a memorial get-together where everyone reminisced about people who have left and now Claude has gone too. 😭 So Miller may go ahead and try to finagle something like that himself even if it all amounts to is everyone getting drunk and stupid.
