Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're now inclding an EMP element since it's an app month! We have an APP THIS PLEASE and ENABLE ME PLEASE in the comments below with a form, so if you're interested in participating, use the form and comment under the subject title applicable. Other than that, the regular comments will go as a normal CR meme would! Also, the TDM will be posted in the log comm with old and new characters alike able to top-level on it.

JUNE TDM

JUNE SUMMARY

THE MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL

The longest day of the year happens to take place on June 20, garnering a huge festival known locally as MIDSUMMER. The festival itself takes place from June 20-24, but there will be celebrations before, during, and after the festival as well!

SUMMER SOLSTICE

The winter solstice superstition from December had characters being told to stay indoors. For summer, the situation is reversed: Chosen and locals alike are encouraged to remain outside and party hard from dusk until dawn! There will be lawn games, dances, bonfires, food, and even fireworks, once the sun has finally set.

THE FESTIVAL

As for the festival itself, there will be lots of activities happening in different areas. This is a loose outline of different areas that will be decked out for the festival!

Beach: locals ask the Chosen to help set up a large beach party, which will include sports like beach volleyball, windboarding, and surfing. There will be a kite-flying competition, as well as sandcastle-building challenges and all sorts of other things. Beach episode time!

Outskirts: the rolling hills outside of the city make a perfect place for field day activities, races, and challenges. Options will include, but are certainly not limited to: bag races, three-legged races, wife carrying, relays, baton passes, and foot races. Those who have horsemanship abilities may be asked to put their skills to use with some horse races–or Chocobo races, for those who will.

In the city: Green spaces in Aldrip unveil new garden designs in honor of the festival: hedge mazes, giant sculpted topiaries, and elaborate fountains. One of the taller buildings in town installs a large spire near one of the garden squares. They claim that as the sun rises to its highest point, light passing through the spire will create quite a show…maybe it’ll be worth keeping an eye on. The event center will be hosting a special evening of dining and dancing just after the night of the solstice–not the fancy masquerade they held for the Ketsoran diplomacy efforts, but nonetheless glamorous and maybe even a little decadent.

to the 1% who has no idea what x-men is, first please listen and watch this earworm. but in all seriousness, x-men is a comic series that became an animated series about certain people who discovered during their young or teenager years that they obtain powerful abilities. kinda like my hero academia except humans don't like that shit. parents disown their children over it, get shunned by friends and others, the whole works.

until this dude named charles xavier (and erik lehnsherr) who does a lot of screaming had a dream that humans and mutants can live peacefully and happily together. and they try to make that into a reality and using their abilities for good to help the humans and world and hope they can accept them as their equal. but eventually, erik thinks humans are stinky and becomes a meanie, and other mutants also think humans smell and try to keel them.

so charles is like nah bro, imma form a family and a team called the x-men, we fight u and prove we are nice. then blah blah, drama and other stuff.

now rogue is a sassy southern girl who lived in mississippi and her mutant powers are: superhuman strength, flight, absorb people's memories, powers, and their personalities by touch (or if you touch her), and saying southern slangs/phrases that make you go "wtf".

(2) she is my brand-new muse and i was still testing her out.

He also may or may not have recently learned he has some demon ancestry himself, which has brought about no issues at all. Ahem.

He's got authority issues up the wazoo and will be ready to fistfight Jerry in a Denny's parking lot from day one, though I'm looking to have his crime focus more on his aimlessness, in how he is more or less drifting through life without ambition or goals. Even so, he's definitely a bit of a delinquent overall and will probably vibe pretty well with others in similarly Weird situations. He's also definitely going to start a fight club.

Personality wise, she's a bit of a tease and will kind of roast people once she gets to know you. She has a good heart though, and remains positive. She's a good source to get advice from, but she's somewhat a responsible adult? MAYBE...

About: the MC of the survivor horror game Rule of Rose, Jen is the survivor of not one but TWO disasters that left her the sole survivor. Whether she’s lucky or unlucky is anyone’s guess.

She’s from the 1940s and was evacuating to the English countryside to avoid the London Blitz when her amnesia decided it’d had enough and forced her to remember her super traumatic childhood she’d suppressed. She’s been heavily bullied her whole life and is quite shy and kind and people-pleasing.

I’m not sure what to do for a crime but I like seeing her develop now that she has her memories back. By that time she’s made a promise that “My beliefs and the will to stand up for them... I don't want to lose those ever again."

About: A genius inventor who hails from the undercity of Zaun and leader of the Firelights. From a tender age the boy was known for his ingenuity and supreme intellect when it came to tinkering with machinery of all kinds. Reserved in his disposition compared to the happy go lucky boy he once was acknowledged for. He aspires to save his home from the vicelike grip of Silco and his lackies. Ekko risks life and limb to achieve his newfound goals willing to put everything on the line to protect those he holds dear.

I'm not entirely sure what I would go for Ekko's crime just yet but I have admittedly already started his application since I conspired to bring the boy savior into Expiation with Elise earlier on last month having the personality section done thus far. Leaning towards potentially making it "terrorism" since it would really piss him off considering that is what the Firelights are labelled as by the top sider populace within Piltover.

She's an Orion, meaning she's green and knows VERY LITTLE about earth culture... but other than that, she's a very standard humanoid. Really. She's definitely not a trained assassin. LMAO FOR REAL. ... Okay yeah she was actually trained to be one of the top assassins in the Orion Syndicate. But she left it all behind! For SCIENCE! She'll be very excited to study all sorts of things, maybe genetically engineer more totally normal animals. No hijacking any ships for her though! Promise!

I'm an ESL teacher which basically means I teach rich tourists how to speak English. Sometimes I disappear for like a week to play video games and this is very normal unfortunately. 💀 Right now I'm hyperfocused on Stardew Valley, Persona 3 Reload (ofc), Crusader Kings 3, and the Sims 4, but historically I'm a big Bioware girlie.

Crime: Duplicity - Kotone hides behind a mask of pretending to be fine and putting others before herself. She's gotten better at that while here in game, but she still lapses sometimes. 😔

Background: Kotone is an energetic teenage girl who tends to stick her nose into everyone's business and live every day like it's her last. Carpe diem, memento mori, etc, etc.

Abilities: She was the leader of a group of high school monster hunters called SEES and can summon a manifestation of her soul called a Persona. There are more details here in her app.

(cw: description of suicidal imagery) Like most of the Persona 3s, Kotone summons her Personas by pointing a gun-like tool called an Evoker to her head and pulling the trigger. It's symbolic of like, accepting your death. It's very edgy.

Plans:
Birthday party: Kotone's going to organize a Cooking Club potluck for her birthday (June 12), though she's not going to actually tell anybody that it's her birthday. She's just going to frame it as a "we should all get together and hang out and cook something!! It'll be fun!!" because she doesn't really care about celebrating herself, but her favorite thing is to share a meal with her friends. 🥺

Beyond that, I'm mostly looking for her to support her CR and develop some new CR -- she might be a protagonist, but she does best helping other people instead of focusing on herself. If your character needs (not necessarily wants) an energetic teenager to pry into their personal affairs, hmu!

How can you run into my character? Kotone can usually be found either working on the farm (mostly with the animals), working at Bar Lupin, or spending time at the Club Building (Teens with Abilities and Talents, Cooking Club, or Sewing Club). She also works a few other random part-time jobs, and is an investor in Mitsuru's casino, so she could also easily be found there! Long story short, if you're looking for Kotone, you could feasibly find her just about anywhere. She's like a bad penny.

Canon Point: They met the guy they’d been trying to track down for a few hundred years, and then got dropped into Aldrip. They’re actually interested in learning about themself now, but they’re still perfectly willing to try to murder people.

Crime: Murder.

Background: Avalon has spent their entire existence trying to fill an internal void that they don’t understand. They started out trying to understand themself through other people, and when that didn’t work they made a purpose out of murder. They’ve recently learned more about what they are, and are interested in exploring their species further. They have issues with their identity and think that they completely lack emotions.

Abilities: They can take on the physical form of any living thing that they can picture, and complete partial shifts like changing their hair color. They can manipulate their body to match anything that they’ve seen or can picture, and sense the emotions of people nearby. They can make telepathic contact with your character or take a PC’s physical form with OOC permission.

Plans: None for now.

Crime: illegal trading & murdering

Personality:

Criminally insane, Jinx has a love for wanton chaos, destruction, and anarchy, and gets easily bored if these reckless urges are left unsatisfied for too long. Jinx isn't shown to think much about the consequences of her behavior and generally acts before thinking, which can lead to people getting hurt easily when around Jinx. While she is clearly a gifted inventor, Jinx is also extremely scatterbrained, forgetting scientific terms and instead imitating gun noises while she constructs her weapons.

Jinx is often portrayed to be hyperactive and very childish, complaining when she doesn't get what she wants and calling others by immature names, giving Vi nicknames such as "Fat-Hands" and "Stupid". With her carefree, self-centered attitude, Jinx doesn't care about money, order, or what others think about her and just destroys what she wants when she wants. Despite this, she still likes to get recognition for her many crimes and is capable of showing off to the Piltover police, knowing that no matter what goes down, she will always get away.

Despite her immature and silly demeanor, Jinx is still a significant force of evil and malice, even if in her crazed mind she sees it as a game. She would put on a veneer of a bubbly and energetic person, only to hide the hurt and trauma of past events. She's also very sarcastic, extroverted with a twisted sense of humor.

INHUMAN SPEED
— she has the ability to zip by faster than a normal human.
INHUMAN LEAPING ➤ (HEADCANON)
— she has the ability to jump higher than a normal human/ good at parkouring.
HIGH PAIN TOLERANCE ➤ (HEADCANON)
— can handle strong amounts of pain (unless you shoot or stab her a repeatedly).
HIGH SUBSTANCE TOLERANCE ➤ (HEADCANON)
— whether with alcohol or drugs, it takes a lot for her to get a buzz or high.
HIGH METABLISM ➤ (HEADCANON)
— due to shimmer also being used as fuel, her appetite grew twice as much and needs to eat a large amount to feel normal.

Jinx comes with mental illnesses. Such as:

SCHIZOPHRENIA
— a serious mental illness that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. People with schizophrenia may seem like they have lost touch with reality, which causes significant distress for the individual, their family members, and friends.

PTSD
— Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event. It is natural to feel afraid during and after a traumatic situation. Fear triggers many split-second changes in the body to help defend against danger or to avoid it.

SEPARATION ANXIETY
— Anxiety Separation anxiety disorder (SAD) is a type of mental health problem. A child with SAD worries a lot about being apart from family members or other close people. The child has a fear of being lost from their family or of something bad occurring to a family member if he or she is not with the person.

HALLUCINATION
— a sensory perception (such as a visual image or a sound) that occurs in the absence of an actual external stimulus and usually arises from neurological disturbance.

DISSOCIATION
— is a mental process where a person disconnects from their thoughts, feelings, memories or sense of identity. Dissociative disorders include dissociative amnesia, depersonalisation disorder and dissociative identity disorder. People who experience a traumatic event will often have some degree of dissociation during the event itself or in the following hours, days or weeks. For example, the event seems ‘unreal’ or the person feels detached from what’s going on around them as if watching the events on television. In most cases, the dissociation resolves without the need for treatment.

Plans:

i don't really have plans for her, but i might throw her into some of these activities and make it chaotic. like instead of a volleyball, she booby trap it somehow that it'll be a bomb ticking volleyball / a game hot potato — just so it'll be more exciting.

with sandcastles, maybe jinx & fishbones will be there, and they build sand castles together while arguing or something. and i'll probably throw her around at the dinin/dance thing too. idk she is just kinda vibing.

jinx is currently a gang leader of some group of teenager NPC thieves over at the docks. she's been helping them rob people, breaking & entering businesses, and other junk. from the items, jinx flips them and sells it to people with a higher profit price because she can just do that even though she has a lot of money anyway.

jinx now has THREE HOMES: her house (w/ silco), the treehouse in the forest, and now the last drop. so you can catch her in those three places every so often. she still stops by the flower shop sometimes, but it'll be much less now that the bar is now in aldrip - that is more of a higher priority to loom around in for her.

Abilities:

- Turns into a couple of monsters but I'm really gonna just do one because I don't know how the Re series plans on doing the other form(s).

- Gives the middle finger to gravity

- Sick gunfu

- Immortal

- somehow, not a vampire

Plans: He's gonna teach some people how to play his favorite card game this is not a joke I am dead serious. If you have fairly positive CR with Vincent, he will teach you. Other than that, no major plans, he's just going to help Spock with his project otherwise and brood, as you can expect from a guy Looking Like That.

How can you run into my character? Sometimes he naps in places a guy should probably not nap. Otherwise Vincent usually doesn't try to make himself easily seen or approachable.

Crime: Helplessness, as he believes that changing fate - especially his - is impossible.

Background: Just a totally normal teenager who is appreciate of life and humanity as a whole and loves connecting with others! He's a sweet guy like that. There is something more to him, something that's practically cosmic horror in nature, but he doesn't know anything about that. Yet.

Abilities: He's good at flirting with anybody <3 But he's also kinda the grim reaper. And he has a monster form and stuff. You can read more of it in detail here.

Plans: His first month around has been very pleasant! He got to see faces he new, faces that welcomed him well, and he has a nice list of dates piled up. So for the second month, I want to turn that over its head - I'd like to get some CR where he discovers that not everyone he meets is a nice person, essentially!

I'd also love to throw him in a situation that might awaken some traces of his abilities? Not for him to remember all of it now, but just something to start it off. In canon this awakened because of a combination of the full moon doing strange things and his life being in danger, so a similar situation might do it. I'm up for other ideas, though!

How can you run into my character? He recently infiltrated the Cooking Club because Shinjiro cannot let his catastrophic cooking skills be, and he's part of Teens with Abilities and Talents/TWAT. Otherwise he's pretty much everywhere trying out new things! You can easily recruit him to part-time jobs or some other groups.

Background: Requiem of the Rose King is shoujo manga adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry VI & Richard III, focusing on the life of Richard Plantagenet through the War of Roses.

So, Richard here is your medieval English king. Or he would be if he hadn't brought here just before he obtained the crown. He basically murdered and manipulated a lot of people, including his own family members, just so that he could become King. He comes with a lot of religious guilt/trauma and self-repression. Your usual stuff. Oh, yeah, he's also sometimes accompanied by this lovely ghost. She's a riot, I promise.

Abilities: Richard is war veteran and seasoned knight!! That being said... he comes from Dark Ages so lol.

Plans:
Just vibing! Richard is still getting used to Aldrip and modern technology. He already tried to bury his tablet once to silence it. He's kind of still adrift, not really sure what to do with himself here. Which is to say I don't have coherent plans. But he will come to festival just to see what you weird heathens are up to.

How can you run into my character? there actually was a handy daily routine meme posted few days ago! TLDR; Richard spends a lot of time in woods, either hunting or practicing the sword. He also visits the staples to tend to horses. He still doesn't trust Chocobos. Other than that, he spends time sulking around the city like a cagey mfucker that he is.

Crime: Literally being involved in Organized Crime

Background: Once upon a time, there was a boy named Tsuna. He was kind of loser, not good at sports or school, and really just kind of cruising through life with no ambition. Then, in a cruel twist of fate, a baby hitman appeared, and told him that he was the heir to the Vongola Mafia family, and it was his job to shape Tsuna up into a good mafia boss. Tsuna's protests fell, and continue to fall, on deaf ears, but considering all the other candidates are dead or just kind of suck, someone's got to do it. At least he got some friends out of the deal.

Tsuna doesn't seem like much at first, but he's a loyal, caring guy who just wants to do the right thing. Push him into a corner and you'll find his backbone. Got a tragic backstory? You're under his sky now. He doesn't ask for chaos but it follows him home anyway.

Abilities: Tsuna's main powers are his Dying Will Flames. When he activated his Hyper Dying Will Mode, he gains a more serious demeanour, and orange flames can be seen on his forehead and hands. The Flames are specifically Sky flames, which can harmonize with other abilities and grant Tsuna the ability to fly, among other things.

Plans:

-I feel I've kind of biffed it these past few months, so we're trying to change that

-Thanks to weird network posts, Tsuna is probably going to be thinking a lot about his crime and crimes in general. While he's got an obvious crime, there has been a level of necessity for him to be involved. So, he'll be thinking about that for a bit (and maybe while I considering some new wording)

-He's also been signed up for sentencing. That might force a hand.

-But certainly, with beach days and parties there will be plenty of space for Tsuna-related shenanigans since he does tend to attract trouble like a magnet. I don't know if he'll be winning any races, but damn if he won't try. Sort of. But maybe we'll let him have a nice time.

-I'll probably be focusing on tagging out this month.

How can you run into my character? Tsuna tends to have a fairly relaxed routine and he probably should get a job of some kind. Though that's a big gamble. Mostly he can be found hanging around at his house, the club building or the arcade.

Crime: That she's from a cursed bloodline of monsters. This is more superstition than fact - I'm leaning into the psychological prison aspect of the setting.

Background/Personality: Marianne's a quiet and unassuming noblewoman who has lived an isolated life because of her family's curse. She loves nature and animals and is a devout, gentle soul whose magic blood just so happens to give rise to destructive impulses in battle.

Abilities: She's got healing magic and elemental magic, but is otherwise a squishy mage not much for physical combat.

Plans: She's going to make an effort to socialize at the festivities thanks to character development over the past year, but she could always use extroverts to encourage her and fellow introverts to wallflower with to recover her social batteries.
She's not competitive but I would like for her to participate in horse racing! Also up for friendly competitions with other riders.

How can you run into my character? She's been here a year and has settled into the cottagecore life before the city changed on her, but you'll still find her at the clinic where she works, on Astralin's farm looking after the animals, or in the meadows where she likes to take walks. She's also part of Artzenritter, Ethlyn's healing troupe.

Background:

Most of Aerith's life has been spent beneath some kind of steel ceiling; from captivity in a laboratory to the oppressive sky of the plate hanging over the Midgar slums, she's never really seen the endless blue sky. You wouldn't guess it after meeting her, though! Aerith is vivacious, spunky, and street-smart, having grown up in the slums. She's a nature-loving free spirit with a rebellious streak that she eagerly indulges in. Her unique experiences have lead her to have strong personal morals that she's unwilling to compromise with, and Aerith always chooses to do right by her and the people she cares about, even at the cost of her own safety. Despite this, she's got a biting sense of humor— she's also not afraid to remind you that she doesn't need to be coddled.

In canon, she makes a living selling flowers she grows herself; some are tended to in a garden at her home, others are from a flowerbed in an abandoned church. Holiness is something of a theme with her, though you may get the impression it's entirely foisted on her. Regardless, Aerith is the party healer who is not afraid to use her magical scepter like a baseball bat. Her close ties to healing, religion, and magic are born from her heritage as the last remaining Cetra in Gaia— she's part magical alien, which makes her of keen interest to a specific power enterprise back home.

Plans:

an overarching theme i'd love to explore with aerith in expiation is her relationships and relationship with loneliness. in the original game, she comments more than once that she's completely alone, and is forced to give up on a number of friendships and relationships she's fostered in the interest of protecting the people she loves. obviously in game that's not as much of a problem but it's definitely something she's defined herself by in remake. i'd love to see how far she'll take it when she prospect of final fantasy vii is looming over her in a jamjar lmao. aerith is here for a good time not a long time can you feel it.

this month i am coming off a month long hiatus. i'm still not 100% but i'm eager to get back into the game. i'm probably going to play it by ear since i sat out everything last month, so you'll see me on the event post for sure. :)

How can you run into my character?

currently jobless but i'd like for her to get back into singing for a career and indulge in plant-related stuff as a job soon, too. she's missing when her life wasn't a burden to her and others so she's a little wistful still and wants to find a piece of that, i think! aerith still lives at the inn and is in general a bit of a nuisance there so you can definitely say you've seen her around that area talking to people and introducing herself. you can probably find her just about anywhere and everywhere but she gravitates towards places with flora. she's the kind of person who goes "i can help!" and does odd jobs around town so i'm down for characters having met her running increasingly bizarre errands or something.

Canon Point: The most exquisitely painful mastery of gameplay and story integration where the only way to keep Ethlyn and her husband from falling to an ambush is to turn off the game because each End Turn brings them closer to death, and all you can do is futiley attempt to reach them before their HP reaches 0 (you will not succeed).

Crime: "The crimes of the Grannvale Empire."

Background: Ethlyn is a healer born to a ducal family with a heroic legacy (her brother and father were both knights and she herself is also a swordswoman). Her brother Sigurd accidentally started a war in an effort to safe a family friend, and then started another war by mistake to save a different friend, for which he was used as a catspaw to create an empire by his nation and then framed as a traitor once he'd unwittingly accomplished that. Ethlyn and her husband Quan accompanied him for most of this war, left to return to their home country, and were killed in an ambush when they returned to reinforce Sigurd's attempt to clear his name.

She's been in Expiation for over a year now and has gone through a lot. Initially she dismissed her accusation as a mistake or a lie, but she's thought a lot more about her family's culpability since. She's also figured out that you cannot just Power Through deeply traumatic things (like having been killed) and a little of what happened in her world after her death. But, as evidenced by her LEAPING HEADLONG into the blank white space of City Hall after Ragna blew it up, her belief that she is The Sensible One is still... worth questioning.

Also, she still runs the Willow Clinic and leads the Arztenritter! (aka: EMTs on horses. or chocobos, now!)

Abilities:

- Overall medical knowledge (she was born in the Fantasy 13th Century but she has learned a LOT I promise you will NOT get gangrene or dysentary)

Plans: I'm going to be visiting parents next week so I'll probably hiatus for safety, but I am going to be around doing stuff! Ethlyn is still weighed down by the realization that her muddled memories post-March were because she chose to avoid the artifacts that carried her true past and she is feeling a great deal of shame and guilt over not having the courage to face the truth of her life.

Other than that, I don't have any specific plans! She'll still be getting people involved in the Arztenritter so if your character has any inclination towards wanting to help the injured, and/or getting injured and needing a healer, she's down.

How can you run into my character? Ethlyn is a busy bee. You can find her at the Clinic, running errands, or going horseback riding and/or training with her sword at the start or the end of the day.

Crime: Matricide: the murder of his Mystique, who he knows as his biological mother.

Background: Kurt's a mutant who happens to resemble a blue and fuzzy devil, which has made it especially hard for him to fit in back home. Living in Professor Charles Xavier's mansion, Kurt's among a number of mutants who has learned how to control his powers and used his powers for good as one of the X-Men. He still remains anxious about how his true form can be perceived, and for that reason he remains dependent on an image inducer which uses holograms to make him look like a normal human teenager, although he still is generally open about being a mutant and his powers. Also he has complicated family stuff and is still shaken by an incident that happened with his biological mother Mystique, which is reflected in his crime.

Abilities: His big power is teleportation (accompanied by clouds of smoke that smell of brimstone), but he's also very acrobatic, can cling to walls/ceilings and has a prehensile tail.

Plans: There's a lot I'd like to explore with Kurt! One would be his habit of hiding with his image inducer, as I'd like to build up to him stopping the charade and becoming open about his true appearance. I also do love to play with his complicated family feelings involving what happened with Mystique, and he does still have to think over on the crime he was assigned. And there's plenty more to potentially explore when it comes to mutants! I would also like him to learn more about swordfighting sometime, so he can learn more skill of his comic book counterpart. I'm open to all kinds of CR! He could always use more friends, and more adversarial CR could be welcome too. Fellow teens, superpowered folks and others in mutant-like situations, or normal people for contrast, adults to build friendships with and maybe even learn from, people who might intially be frightened or uneasy about his real form. There's plenty of possibilities!

For this month, he will most likely participate in the event, as he likes opportunities to goof around and is ready for some summer fun!

How can you run into my character? He lives at Scott's house and generally explores the different parts of the city. It's especially useful to build up familiarity as a teleporter, after all. He definitely spends a lot of time at the arcade. He'll probably pick up a part time job at some point, but I've yet to really think much about that.

he's also getting sentenced for murdering Gogol this month which I would like to mention is not his fault HE DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE GUY BE UNALIVE. Just. set him very strongly on that path. Which wasn't like... on purpose he thought the guy was tougher....

Background: Orphan who got recruited in middle school by a corporation to be a child soldier for them. Things went really well up until they didn't! He then spent two years being depressed and making terrible decisions-- BUT THEN ENDED UP IN EXP!! He's gotten pretty used to being here and honestly prefers it to his own canon, l-lol... It's great he doesn't have to have daily reminders of his fuckups here. It's almost like he's learning to move on. (Or more likely: avoid things even harder. But you know... same deal????)

Abilities: He's one of the Persona kids! He can summon a big ol' monster that can eat at his HP and do big strong smashing moves. That's it, that's all it does. This is surely not a metaphor at all.

Plans: For overarching plans: Shinjiro is pretty settled in Aldrip, to be honest! He's basically accepted "Hey, this is probably a virtual reality fake world, so yolo, nothing matters." But in a good way! So honestly giving him some challenges might be fun? Idk fam I'm just making everything up as I go.

ha ha j/k he's gonna feel some kinda way about this place deciding to punish him for this and not the actual kill he did back home and still feels stupid responsible for. It's kind of like a sick joke to get sentenced for murder for showing up to a fight and taking out the guy who disemboweled his girlfriend, but then get radio silence about the innocent woman he killed.

How can you run into my character? Shinjiro's main hangouts are:

- The clubhouse. He shows up for cooking club like twice a week. Maybe a bit more often after making his post telling people to learn how to feed themselves? He won't go out of his way to involve himself with whatever someone's doing, but he's surprisingly patient in giving advice or instructions as long as someone's actually trying.

- The CASINO. He helps out at the casino during the evening and night! Who knows what his actual job title is, but he functions a lot like a host-- joining groups at tables, encouraging more spending time and ordering or gambling. Mitsuru mostly sics him on cougars because we all think that one drama CD is funny.

- The Market. Dudes gotta get groceries. And it's just a cool place to hang out and have a coffee and watch people. Especially if you got a friend to talk shit with.

Background: Teen detective with many issues, as of her canon point she's been trying to work on those issues with limited success. But hey, at least she has friends now.

Abilities: Another persona user. She is the most frail glass canon, she has some shield spells but everything else is offensive.

Plans: So my plans involve continuing on with working through her insecurities and trust issues. Which are still a thing as of arena. In game she's feeling a bit mopey over not being able to make any progress with information gathering. Along with some disconnect from her senpai due to them being in Aldrip so long, being from different worlds, currently feeling that the aforementioned lack of progress is letting them down.
