Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're now inclding an EMP element since it's an app month! We have an APP THIS PLEASE and ENABLE ME PLEASE in the comments below with a form, so if you're interested in participating, use the form and comment under the subject title applicable. Other than that, the regular comments will go as a normal CR meme would! Also, the TDM will be posted in the log comm with old and new characters alike able to top-level on it.

JUNE SUMMARY

THE MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL

The longest day of the year happens to take place on June 20, garnering a huge festival known locally as MIDSUMMER. The festival itself takes place from June 20-24, but there will be celebrations before, during, and after the festival as well!

SUMMER SOLSTICE

The winter solstice superstition from December had characters being told to stay indoors. For summer, the situation is reversed: Chosen and locals alike are encouraged to remain outside and party hard from dusk until dawn! There will be lawn games, dances, bonfires, food, and even fireworks, once the sun has finally set.

THE FESTIVAL

As for the festival itself, there will be lots of activities happening in different areas. This is a loose outline of different areas that will be decked out for the festival!

Beach: locals ask the Chosen to help set up a large beach party, which will include sports like beach volleyball, windboarding, and surfing. There will be a kite-flying competition, as well as sandcastle-building challenges and all sorts of other things. Beach episode time!

Outskirts: the rolling hills outside of the city make a perfect place for field day activities, races, and challenges. Options will include, but are certainly not limited to: bag races, three-legged races, wife carrying, relays, baton passes, and foot races. Those who have horsemanship abilities may be asked to put their skills to use with some horse races–or Chocobo races, for those who will.

In the city: Green spaces in Aldrip unveil new garden designs in honor of the festival: hedge mazes, giant sculpted topiaries, and elaborate fountains. One of the taller buildings in town installs a large spire near one of the garden squares. They claim that as the sun rises to its highest point, light passing through the spire will create quite a show…maybe it’ll be worth keeping an eye on. The event center will be hosting a special evening of dining and dancing just after the night of the solstice–not the fancy masquerade they held for the Ketsoran diplomacy efforts, but nonetheless glamorous and maybe even a little decadent.

honestly the end of S1 is such a good point for these two to come in from for the drama, it'll make being in another world not Just Another Tuesday considering there were a few time travel plots in the original cartoon.

Morph will try to get her to chill out but we'll see how far they manage to get while they're also kinda panicking lol

imagine if that's the next x-men show. cause you know, there's always the cartoon version, the live action/movie version, and then a version of them as babies/day care kids. they did that with looney tunes, the muppets, and drama drama island.

the theme song will be muppet babies but with different lyrics: x-men babbiesss, they fight bigotry in diapers.

but seriously, yeah. im still floored how well season 1 ended and them being here fit together. and the hilarious part is the arrival story changed from when i joined this game a year ago. so like.

when rogue sees this tiny little robot at her feet being like "welcome, take this", she is immediately going to smash it cause fuck robots lmaoooo.

but yeah, let's see how well they can chill out. everyone is just around having fun and they're just sweating.

Believe it or not there's a thing called the X-Babies who exist in the comics so they could have that ready to go... and I'm pretty sure Disney+ is already doing a Spiderman show for very young kids, so never say never.

Yeah a mysterious teleportation is so perfect for a multifandom game! Morph will never judge for smashing robots, that's just cathartic. They're not going to like robots being around either if the things are quite that common

yess, im so excited. out of everyone who will be tdming, i think rogue and morph will be the only two who will not be having it. everyone will be like going with the flow or trying to adapt or eating at least. rogue is just nope nope nope nope, need to find the x-men, need to go back home to julibee, roberto, forge, and cable.

YEAH they're definitely a parody of the Muppet Babies cartoon that came out in the mid 80s! The X-Babies are a Mojo creation so they're usually hanging out in the Mojoverse being stars of some show or another.

Morph is going to be wearing their human disguise too, who knows what things are like here??? Dangerous, probably. Hopefully these two will be calmer once the next party rolls around rofl

i thought about maybe doing like a 3 thing??? like rogue + morph + (whoever tags) prompt, but then again, a 3 way tag thread can take a while to rp out.

I'm totally down for that if you are! I'll backtag until forever, plus it could be pretty funny to see these two trying to act normal in front of someone else. Up to what you prefer really!

1 - arrival prompt just rogue and whoever actually nah, that might be too much lol.
2- arrival prompt rogue and morph finding each other
3 - maybe another arrival prompt of rogue and morph and another person
4 - rogue panicking pacing and flying around the party area, looking up at the sky and everywhere.

Morph did 'wear' just Logan's claws in the Goblin Queen ep so... presumably? There's a lot of little details like that I wish would get cleared up tbh.
