Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're now inclding an EMP element since it's an app month! We have an APP THIS PLEASE and ENABLE ME PLEASE in the comments below with a form, so if you're interested in participating, use the form and comment under the subject title applicable. Other than that, the regular comments will go as a normal CR meme would! Also, the TDM will be posted in the log comm with old and new characters alike able to top-level on it.

OCTOBER TDM

TEST DRIVE/MINGLE: SPOOKY SEASON ACTIVITIES

The locals don't consciously seem to know that anything was glitching, and they'll give strange looks when you mention anything about a "reset"...but it's almost like they're celebrating things going back to normal. Near the end of the month, a carnival comes to town! This will serve as our October TDM, and while most of the rides and games will be standard fare for carnivals, there will be some small, opt-in elements that deal with the crimes that characters have been charged with.

Aldrip's traditional witch hunt will be the other big draw this month. The witch hunt is more symbolic than literal, but this year, it'll be done like a game of tag. Some Chosen will be picked to be witches, and other characters will have to capture them. Whoever has captured a witch by the end of the event will receive a prize: one regained small item from home! Successful captures will be chosen via RNG; we'll have a sign-up in the TDM post.

Hello! Sorry to make you wait, turns out that getting 3 busy people's thoughts/approval takes longer than expected. Who'd guess! Anyway, thanks for your patience. We left Root a reply in the event thread.

How would they be with someone asking what they did wrong and apologising for upsetting them 🥺 ? (Because she has done that before lmao)

They'd probably just give her the stink eye and a cold shoulder... almost like they're really eager to get out of the conversation.

because i always ask this question, hahaha! and i checked the world page before asking so i don't look silly.

so with everything now reset, and the glitches are gone, what of the other cities? can the chosen still not travel to rumpitur, ketsora, the ruins, the tower (oasis? that's new!)? or are they good to go now?

Rumpitur's open again, almost like it was before it got barred off. Ketsora's just a void, and travel through the desert is still really difficult to do and will take more than a week. Characters can only go on foot, since no other kind of transportation will make it through the storms.

just to clarify! Does this mean ketsora is gone completely and in its place is a void, or do you mean the wall is still there, as is the void behind the gate?

It's a void past the gate!

Casually sliding in here to ask: can the void be scanned. Can Spock please scan the void with his tricorder. What happens if, you know, you lay a hand within the body of the void. Just because some of the Chosen (Spock) are bound by the laws of curiosity and need to touch everything if not being actively watched.

If the Chosen gets too close to the void, they'll pass out and find themselves outside of the area of it. Attempts to scan will result in the same sort of outcomes!

so Cait died just before the reset happened, would she still wake up like everyone else? Will she still have the lingering effects of the corruption?

That's up to you! However you choose to swing it, the normal death penalty of Expi will count towards Caitlyn in this case.
