Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're now inclding an EMP element since it's an app month! We have an APP THIS PLEASE and ENABLE ME PLEASE in the comments below with a form, so if you're interested in participating, use the form and comment under the subject title applicable. Other than that, the regular comments will go as a normal CR meme would! Also, the TDM will be posted in the log comm with old and new characters alike able to top-level on it.

OCTOBER TDM

TEST DRIVE/MINGLE: SPOOKY SEASON ACTIVITIES

The locals don't consciously seem to know that anything was glitching, and they'll give strange looks when you mention anything about a "reset"...but it's almost like they're celebrating things going back to normal. Near the end of the month, a carnival comes to town! This will serve as our October TDM, and while most of the rides and games will be standard fare for carnivals, there will be some small, opt-in elements that deal with the crimes that characters have been charged with.

Aldrip's traditional witch hunt will be the other big draw this month. The witch hunt is more symbolic than literal, but this year, it'll be done like a game of tag. Some Chosen will be picked to be witches, and other characters will have to capture them. Whoever has captured a witch by the end of the event will receive a prize: one regained small item from home! Successful captures will be chosen via RNG; we'll have a sign-up in the TDM post.

Character: Visas Marr
Canon: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
Canon Point: Postgame

Crime: "Abrogation"

Background: Visas is the former slave of a Sith Lord who went around consuming life through the Force and consumed her home planet because it was 1. populated by a naturally Force-sensitive species and 2. hosting a Jedi conclave that was trying to figure out the mysterious dark force killing Jedi (they found out). She went from being someone who was probably a normal person getting along in a post-war Galaxy to a crushed and shattered individual who craved silence and death, and who had no moral compunctions about bringing that about.

And then one day she sensed the presence of a person as wounded, if not moreso, than herself--the Jedi Exile. When she went to bring the Exile to Darth Nihilus, the Exile defeated her and then showed Visas mercy. Seeing that the Exile was suffering so much and yet refused to cave to apathy and despair shook Visas to her core. She renounced Nihilus and swore herself to the Exile's service instead.

Without either master, Visas is at something of a loose end. She doesn't know what to do with herself right now. She's also still unlearning some of the more horrible ways of thinking that she adopted while she was a Sith (it is BAD to throw grenades in a crowded place to CAUSE MORE CASUALTIES, VISAS).

Abilities: Visas is a Force user which means she can do the telekinesis thing, and she also has a few scary Dark Side powers. As a Miraluka, her species doesn't have eyes but sees through the Force (see below for permissions post w/r/t that). However, her sight was damaged when her world was destroyed, and she still struggles with figuring out if her perceptions are correct.

She's also got a lightsaber, and has a better-than-decent command of computer skills.

Plans: Visas took part in the reset last month until the effects of the corruption told on her and she tried to attack her team because she saw it all as futile and life as meaningless. She feels pretty ashamed about that now. She'll be interested in talking to the people she talked to during the whole AI conundrum. But the fact they're in a simulation still bugs her and!! she wants to talk to people about what they think it's all for and also what the point of all this is. (Casual conversation not her forte.)

How can you run into my character? Her unfinished basement is still there and she's still living in it. She ventures forth to buy groceries and things. Sometimes she meditates in random places.

With the townsfolk being cold to them Visas is probably just going to resort to stealing shit because they're only simulations anyway so like, WHATEVER, YOU KNOW??

???: I have a permissions post explaining Visas' Force Sight and a form to opt-in to it! If you don't fill it out then my default is to not have Visas able to perceive your character's morality because canonically her ability is damaged.
