Welcome to Expiation! We're thrilled to have you here, new and old players alike. Please note that this intro entry serves additionally as a CR meme, so you are free to use it to say hello, tell us a bit about yourself, talk about your character, and potential plans for the game.
As a reminder, Expiation runs on bi-monthly events. Since the game has just opened in February, we want to give players and characters some time to settle into the area and get to know other characters as well. Please note that all players / characters accepted in February are exempt from the February AC.

Anything Else?: My plurk is a pretty random mix of RL and RP/fandom stuff. I consume a lot of media, so I'll potentially talk about a lot of stuff - aside from TLOU, I may talk about Star Wars, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc.
Character: Joel Miller
Canon: The Last of Us
Canon Point: the end of the first game.
Crime: Betrayal and kidnapping of a loved one! Good luck getting him to show you his paper!
Background: For anyone not familiar with the canon, Joel is a middle-aged traumatized survivor of a fungal zombie apocalypse. Yes, fungus zombies. He's not nice, nor is he particularly good, and he's emotionally constipated as fuuuuuck. Check his app if you want all the deets.
Abilities: He's just a dude, albeit one who's good at surviving.
Plans: The biggest thing is that Joel is going to need to find someone(s) that he wants to look after/protect/team up with. Otherwise, I'm open to all kinds of ideas, positive, negative, whatever. Whether he's even capable of any kind of "redemption" is pretty up in the air tbh.

Peter is so down for emotionally constipated friends. If you want a guy Joel can yell at as a means of friendship, he's your guy! Peter also has a daughter-figure at home who he recently picked up so maybe they can bond over precocious teens, who knows?

I think either of my characters would be interesting dynamics. Aerith definitely is the sort of character who others see a need to protect (and she largely lets that happen), whilst Kisara is rather self-sufficient and probably a little more on par with Joel in terms of combative skills.
