Welcome to Expiation! We're thrilled to have you here, new and old players alike. Please note that this intro entry serves additionally as a CR meme, so you are free to use it to say hello, tell us a bit about yourself, talk about your character, and potential plans for the game.

As a reminder, Expiation runs on bi-monthly events. Since the game has just opened in February, we want to give players and characters some time to settle into the area and get to know other characters as well. Please note that all players / characters accepted in February are exempt from the February AC.

i've pulled ethlyn in feh but threading with you i've gotten to know her character a lot better! i love how she's got a stubborn streak behind the kind and motherly attitude. i'm enjoying our CR and look forward to how it develops

YES, here to tell people all about PLANTS and how important they are

I love that FEH has been able to highlight some of the characters from games that may never see the light of (official, ahem) localization. I'm really looking forward to Ethlyn and Marianne too--admittedly Ethlyn is probably going to unintentionally use "help Marianne" as a way to not deal with her own issues vis-a-vis guilt and dying and all that :') but she'll still be legitimately trying to help!!

ohhh ethlyn. i know vaguely what happens to sigurd oof, what a rough canon point ;_; marianne very much appreciates ethlyn's support and hearing about her death her heart goes out to her

My favorite two plants are chicory (the color is lovely and the petals look like they've been cut out with pinking shears, which is DELIGHTFUL) and the Vaccinium genus (blueberries / cranberries / bilberries / etc) because they are delicious and specifically live in terrible acidic nutrient-poor soil, which I love as an example of how resilient plants are.

YEAH ;; the part where she and her husband go is one of the most painful things I've ever experienced in a game because it's not even a cutscene, it happens in gameplay where you're up at the top end of the map from them, but there's no way to reach them in time and every time you end the turn, you bring them closer to death... IT'S ROUGH.

i've heard of chicory but never seen the flowers until googling it just now. they're so cute, nature is amazing

oh god that's evil, evil map design T_T i hope they port the game one day i'd like to experience it
