Welcome to Expiation and come on down! We're thrilled to have you here! This intro entry serves additionally as a CR meme, so you are free to use it to say hello, tell us a bit about yourself, talk about your character, and potential plans for the game.

JANUARY EVENT SUMMARY

TO SLEEP, PERCHANCE TO DREAM

Dreams are a funny thing, and in a shared simulation, even moreso. The evening of 1/13 proves to be very strange indeed, as characters find themselves having very vivid shared dreams. These dreams contain memories, and the Chosen are able to freely share in the dreams and memories of others.

The catch? They don't know they're dreaming...at least, not at first. Here's the thing: dreams are nice, but stay in them too long, and you might not want to wake up, right? Staying too long within these dreamscapes runs the risk of falling into a deep sleep, perhaps never to wake at all...

Chosen are able to influence each other's dreams, and are able to wake up one another if necessary. Once awakened, they may choose to enter dreams again --by falling asleep-- in order to help others wake as well.

Is an AI capable of dreaming? There's a good question. We might be about to find out...

hey all!! I'm being a cheating cheater and am just using this for ooc plotting for the event. Claude's whole deal is that he's biracial, and he's secretly the Prince of an Ottoman Empire-inspired land called Almyra. As this is a secret, please give me a poke before nabbing that prompt so we can work it out afterwards, but I'm more than happy to welcome folks in!

My three open prompts are:
- Life in the Almyran Palace: labyrinthium halls, assassins lurking around the corner, marketplaces to discover, images of absolute luxury
- Life in the Fodlani Battlefield: a western country embroiled in war, in which your character gets placed on the battlefield as an enemy soldier willingly becomes a demonic beast... or maybe it's you! or one of your friends!
- Monastery At Peace: War? We don't know her! Come hang out at the monastery in-between visions of its inevitable demise.

I'd love for there to be plenty of dream logic and melding of both canons/themes/dreams! Some repeating things in Claude's dreams are: running, familial issues (say hey if you want Claude's parents or shitty half-brother; former will be in almyra, the latter will be waging war on fodlan), assassins, war, racism, and more! I'm also open to playing baby Claude [Khalid] if that's anyone's jam <3 please feel free to come and plot -- I don't bite and I'd love to put up some custom starters too <3
