Welcome to Expiation's CR meme! This is a post where players can plot with each other on the direction they'd like to go for the month, and so on and so forth. There's a form below for you to fill out below, so get plotting!

We're now inclding an EMP element since it's an app month! TEST DRIVE/MINGLE: LOVE IS IN THE... AIR?

Aldrip's Day of Devotion celebration has become tradition among the locals. This year, to celebrate the occasion, the events center will open its doors to both locals and chosen for a special party. Strangely, not a lot of the locals seem to be attenting...well, at least it's not crowded.

The party is a little lackluster, if we're being honest. Corny cut-paper decorations, low-budget food, sappy music. The staff seem to be dedicated to making this event a roaring success, though! They'll be obsessively pairing up any single folks they see, even if that just means grabbing the closest random stranger. There will be some games, too: speed dating, a secret tunnel of love, gift giving, and things like that.

In game, the party takes place on February 17, but we'll be putting the log up on February 10, so it'll be forward-dated.

Character: Ragna the Bloodedge
Canon: BlazBlue
Canon Point: At the end of BlazBlue: Centralfiction.

Crime: Destroying the world. Y'know, normal stuff.

Background/Personality: The world's most wanted criminal with the highest bounty in history on his head ─ a feat he's achieved by going around the world attacking and destroying various government facilities and killing hundreds of soldiers, earning himself the nickname "Grim Reaper". Generally speaking, he's kind of an asshole: he's rude, grouchy and cynical with hair-trigger temper that often leads to a rather liberal use of violence. Thing is, despite his deadly reputation and outward grumpiness, deep inside he's actually a genuinely kind and caring guy who'd do anything to protect his loved ones and always puts their happiness and well-being before his own (sometimes to a fault). He just has tons of emotional baggage that makes it really hard for him to actually open up.

tl;dr: he's a big dumb edgy tsundere with trust issues, do with that what you will.

Abilities: You can find the full summary here, but here's a short and sweet version:
- skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as sword fighting
- has access to a wide range of spells called Ars Magus, which technically aren't magic, but would probably appear as such to someone unfamiliar with the concept
- has ridiculous regenerating abilities that allow him to survive and more or less shake off most injuries that would otherwise be fatal (they still hurt tho)
- his personal special ability (aka Drive), Soul Eater, does exactly what it says on the tin: it allows him to absorb souls/life force of living things around him. He's got it mostly under control, but touching him or even staying around him for extended periods of time puts one at risk of him involuntarily sucking the other person's life out of them. Also, using it drastically decreases his own lifespan. Oops.
- should he ever lose control over his abilities, he's in danger of turning into a giant, world-destroying monster, but don't worry. It's fine. He's fine.

Plans: First off, NOTE: he is currently missing his right arm and his right eye isn't working most of the time! I'll be mentioning it in the threads over and over again since it's hard to miss, but I figured I'd give a PSA too just in case it slips my mind.

Like for many others, January has been rough for me (and I got sick towards the end/still am sick orz), so I'm definitely down to continue January event threads/starts new ones if anyone still wants to join the dreamshare fun!

As for new plans, I kinda want to get Ragna dragged into the V-day shenanigans (possibly speed dating?), even though he will complain loudly and overall be a miserable little prick about it all.

It's recently been pointed out to him that he doesn't have anything in terms of a long-term goal for himself (thanks, dad), so that's something for him to ponder... even if he's somewhat reluctant to do any of that self-relfection crap. This may or may not lead to him trying to learn more about the AI, but he's still very much allergic to the idea of relying on others and teamwork...

How can you run into my character? Ragna lives in a church in the outskirts of Aldrip, but can also often be found hanging out at the Last Drop or any other of Silco's businesses, since he's kinda sorta working as the man's bodyguard.

That said, I wanted to give a heads-up; I was dealing with a lot the past few weeks. There was a passing recently in my family circle and with other things going on online. I was taking a break to decompress everything esp with the death. I should be good now in the next few weeks and regularly responding to things! She also has the ability to go into your dreams/heart and basically give you some therapy. Which essentially should just be reimagined as if she is taking inner thoughts and reordering them if they go in places they shouldn't/if you feel things that you don't want to feel or don't mean to. etc.
