Welcome to Expiation and come on down! We're thrilled to have you here! This intro entry serves additionally as a CR meme, so you are free to use it to say hello, tell us a bit about yourself, talk about your character, and potential plans for the game.

Anything Else?: Just created a new plurk after years of being out of the DWRP game... game, so don't mind that it's weird and empty for right now haha

Character: Ekko

Canon Point: Post-Season 1

Crime: Sedition 😎

Background: Ekko is a grubby street kid turned resistance organizer/fighter. He comes off as pretty self-serious at first blush but the second you scratch beneath the surface he's all joyriding hoverboards and hitting drug kingpin goons with pipes for a good time. He's incredibly nosy and has a short temper, but he's also very compassionate and hard-working, and knows how to have fun (it will probably be illegal fun.) Fancily coded info page here.

Abilities: Genius inventor, does graffiti art, he's not superhuman but he's extremely agile and good in a scrap.

Plans: My favorite CR type in games is messy gremlin teen shenanigans, obviously what Aldrip needs is more underaged drinking and house parties. I'd also love to bounce him off other inventor/engineer types!

I don't have any big plans or concrete directions I'd like to progress Ekko's character development in yet, I just figure sooner-or-later I'll probably try to have him set up a little inventor workspace/junk shop in town. For now he's just getting settled, probably either volunteering at the blacksmith's or at least pestering them into making parts for stuff so he can tinker around and build, or doing mildly unhinged shit like throwing on his gas mask and collecting status effect flowers to weaponize later (hey, waste not want not!)

i didn't hit you up on the tdm, but i'd love for scott and ekko to meet sometime! he's not a full gremlin teen, but i feel they might have some interesting cr.

Ahh I would love that!! I love Scott, and Jinx has already namedropped his Hot Eyes to Ekko, so clearly they have to meet

And don't worry, with hard work and a can-do attitude they can always make him worse!

i'm definitely enjoying their tdm thread, so i'd love to keep that going and maybe use it as the start of building some cr! ange is.. really the opposite of a wild teen enjoying the wild teen life, but she believes that ekko's at least got some brains, and she can definitely appreciate that in people. especially when ange is really trying to get to the bottom of what's going on in this place, since she doesn't trust the reason they were given for being taken to another world one bit!
